Came in yesterday at 1. One other table in entire restaurant and the server seemed unhappy to be there. She got our drinks and another table walked in. Was a co worker who then became top priority. We continued to sit there are our server took their food order and chatted with them as we still had not been spoken to again since our drinks. We sat there tell I decided to leave. Bacon Cheese Burger. Bun was old, cracked and fell apart. Bacon and Burger were way overcooked. Couldn't cut bacon even with knife.

The Blackberry Patch Restaurant once offered hearty breakfasts, including a tasty Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, potatoes, and pancakes or biscuits and gravy. The fluffy, soft pancakes were a highlight. Sadly, a devastating fire in 2024 has closed this long-time local business, and the owner is unable to afford rebuilding without insurance. The community is grieving the loss of this popular diner-like establishment, known for its good food and reasonable prices. The restaurant's friendly staff and comforting atmosphere will be missed.
