We were through there a couple weeks ago on vacation. Food was very good and prices very reasonable. The staff was very friendly. We were one of the last customers of the evening and the chef came out and talked to us. Very nice guy. I wish this was a local place for us. Good old fashion customer service.
One last, I love strawberry Daiquiri's and they had the best one I have ever had!!! Thank you again to all the staff for making us feel like a valued customer. Hopefully if we are in the area again, we WILL stop by.

Excellent experience! We were just passing through Burney and came across this charming restaurant, so we decided to check it out. The food was exceptional, full of amazing flavors. The bread was fantastic, and the clam chowder soup was perfect. We had the steak and the Chicken Marsala Gorgonzola. Both were fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Terry is truly an amazing chef and we had an amazing service! Stop by if you’re on your way through Burney Falls!

From the moment we sat down, Rebecca made us feel so welcome — she knew exactly what to recommend, and every suggestion was spot-on. Then came the star of the night: our steak… hands down the BEST steak we’ve had in over a year! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. And let’s not forget the warm, freshly baked bread — so soft, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. Chef Terry, you outdid yourself — every bite was pure happiness. We’ll be dreaming about this meal until we come back!

Excellent service and delicious - had lemon chicken with wild rice and farm fresh steamed veggies and one son had a rib eye and the other had ravioli and both loved their meals. Service was quick and friendly! Give Rex’s all the stars. It’s a time capsule of 1930s Americana decor and clean as a whistle!

I would like to thank the folks of Burney for making my trip with my girlfriend special. We have both been through some extreme times (as many of you may have also had) over this past two years or so. I personally never get to do anything fun and don’t always get professional treatment. I would like to thank our server who was not only inviting and thorough, but also warm and caring. I noticed a couple of restaurants that had closed for good here and I would hate to see that. This is such a charming and nice town. What if the owners of this venue were able to bring in some live music once in a while. Maybe host some events. Maybe they could rent it for private parties on occasion? The casino should surely bring in some seasonal business right? I can’t imagine how hard it is to run a spot. I think covid just took away so many aspects of our lives. It will eventually come back. i just wanted to offer a little something from my heart, as the beauty of this place humbled me in a way. Thank you ! Also the food was excellent. I had the minestrone, which was the best I’ve ever had. The burger we shared was light & buttery. I will come back sometime. This is where you want to take your wife for a quality experience. Trust me.

Ate dinner there last night the food was excellent and the service was awesome. I had a yummy clam chowder with my delicious chicken parmesan. My husband was torn between ordering steak or spaghetti. He decided on the steak and was thrilled to find he could choose spaghetti as his side. The steak was perfect.
Also, I have been to many a restaurant with decor in the rafters. This place was spotless!

I would never recommend this place to ANYONE!!! Walked in, with friends and family. There were only 3 tables taken. Waited over 7 minutes to be acknowledged by waitress. Sat ourselves. She looked over at us, and still continued to ignore. Never received menus or water. Waited another 6 minutes, and finally got up and walked out. The waitress was a lady in her 30s , brown hair. Disgusting, dirty place with rude, racist , jerks.
