I would like to thank the folks of Burney for making my trip with my girlfriend special. We have both been through some extreme times (as many of you may have also had) over this past two years or so. I personally never get to do anything fun and don’t always get professional treatment. I would like to thank our server who was not only inviting and thorough, but also warm and caring. I noticed a couple of restaurants that had closed for good here and I would hate to see that. This is such a charming and nice town. What if the owners of this venue were able to bring in some live music once in a while. Maybe host some events. Maybe they could rent it for private parties on occasion? The casino should surely bring in some seasonal business right? I can’t imagine how hard it is to run a spot. I think covid just took away so many aspects of our lives. It will eventually come back. i just wanted to offer a little something from my heart, as the beauty of this place humbled me in a way. Thank you ! Also the food was excellent. I had the minestrone, which was the best I’ve ever had. The burger we shared was light & buttery. I will come back sometime. This is where you want to take your wife for a quality experience. Trust me.

Ate dinner there last night the food was excellent and the service was awesome. I had a yummy clam chowder with my delicious chicken parmesan. My husband was torn between ordering steak or spaghetti. He decided on the steak and was thrilled to find he could choose spaghetti as his side. The steak was perfect.
Also, I have been to many a restaurant with decor in the rafters. This place was spotless!

I would never recommend this place to ANYONE!!! Walked in, with friends and family. There were only 3 tables taken. Waited over 7 minutes to be acknowledged by waitress. Sat ourselves. She looked over at us, and still continued to ignore. Never received menus or water. Waited another 6 minutes, and finally got up and walked out. The waitress was a lady in her 30s , brown hair. Disgusting, dirty place with rude, racist , jerks.

The owner wants to sell the Rex club so they don't care about their customers or employees. Hannah is the one and only waitress on a Saturday night. When it gets busy like it did last Saturday, she is slammed. She takes the order's brings out the bread, is the bartender for anyone that wants drinks, makes the salads, and brings them out with soup. She eventually brings out the entries, refills water, coffee, bar drinks. Clears tables washes the dishes, Etc. Etc. Etc. Hannah is an excellent waitress. She served one large party of eight to ten people. A party of three, two to go order's and eight other tables of two and that was just while I was there. Everyone saw what she was going through and didn't complain or get overbearing. Come on, owners, you have a great restaurant. The food is great, your staff is great, why are you trying to destroy your business? It will sell better if you have good food and service. Not to mention your staff and customers would be happier if you added employees to your days. Even if someone had to be on call.

Freshly baked bread, super yummy salad with tasty greens and very sweet baby tomatoes and they served us the best steak we've had in many, many years with a delicious stuffed potato and perfectly cooked broccoli! REALY, REALLY good! We'd give The Rex Club the very highest recommendation and can’t wait to go back!

We showed up about 6:30 with 11 peeps not to many places to eat in Burney. I have to tell ya! It was delicious! We all had steak it was cooked to perfection the home made bread was a special treat the cook was Terry i think that was his name. Very good dinner so glad they are there.

We (a car club) booked a reservation for 18 people on a Saturday night. The chef was very accommodating, even offering to make us a prime rib for the group (which a good portion of us opted for). The food was delicious, the wait staff was amazing - our waitress (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was great! We even had a lot of separate checks, and there was no issue. The chef came out after we ate, and we were able to thank him in person. I don't know what was in the bread (dried fruit?), but it was delicious. This wasn't a fancy, stuffy meal - just great food. All in all, if I ever find myself in Burney again, I will be returning.
