Great place to eat, when there the restaurant was very busy, an elderly lady asked if she could sit with us as no other spaces. We had a lovely time chatting to her. What a privilege, plus saw a verse on bottom of the cup. Thankyou

Ok look, In-N-Out can be very polarizing, I get it. Some love it, some hate it. I love it. You might hate it. Never know until you try.
Yes there is a secret menu. You should learn it and test out different options. Mustard grilled is great as are peppers.
The buns are soft. Sponge bread if you will. I like them but again, polarizing. You can order “protein style”, which is a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun.
The fries are normally a little under-cooked, in my opinion. You can ask for lite-well or well done.
For me, it’s more about feeling like home. I travel a lot, live abroad for most of the year, so when I get back to California, In-N-Out is one of the first stops. It’s comfort food that tells my body “yes, you’re back in California now, all good”
Everyone has their favorite order. For me it’s double-double with fries cooked “lite-well”. If I’m very hungry then I’ll get the burger animal style.
Twenty-ish years ago I started or ended every road trip with In-N-Out. Burgers there still taste as delicious as ever. Worth the wait, in my opinion.

Becca took the order and said it correctly back to us !! It was prepared wrong! We waited so long that people in the drive-thru started honking! Then had to go around to the front and we waited some more! I haven't had a poor experience like this ever! So sad 😞 Morongo for the win! Not in n out thought!
Food and service always great. Only drawback is like all In-N-Out restaurants. Crowded.

I must admit that I have a specific type of mindset whenever I visit and In-n-Out. I grew up going to this burger place, and some people may not understand it's been a part of my world for many years. So when people think it's my first time and I don't know the menu, I shake my head. The food was OK, but it was just too much socializing going on between the workers, which took away from things moving more smoothly. One of my favorite things when it comes to In-n-Out has been the quality of their food, getting the food server in a timely manner, and their friendly atmosphere, and so when I run into those things lacking it's just something that does sit right with me.
