Inside of Morongo Casino this was the best spot to eat. Right in the middle of the casino, this was the best part of the whole trip. Really cool seafood soup type dishes cooked right in front of you in these awesome single cook pots. Chef was killin it with about 5 goin at one time. Super fresh. Sushi ?, salad ?, clam chowder were all ?. A must go for amazing seafood. A+++Parking: Valet available

We always eat here when at Morongo! Love the seafood here, oysters and sushi are delicious. Service is always great and welcoming. A must go to place if you love seafood!

The little counter dining spot is inside the Morongo Casino next to the marketplace. It was fun watching the chef cook everyone's food. The servers were very nice. The food was a little bit bland but good enough. My neighbor got the combo pan roast and it looked so good. Wish I ordered that instead. The food portion is reasonable and very filling.

This was my second time at Morongo and my first time eating here. I came here with my dad and stepmom all the way from Long Beach. We came for a little late lunch around 2pm and were greeted and sat at sushi bar area right away. We All had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon( $13 each) and it was delicious and helped calm my nerves from the hour and a half ride down lol. We were served complimentary fresh bread and butter which was delicious ( bread lover for sure!) and were given a few minutes to choose what we wanted from the menu.I ordered the Shrimp scampi- $32, my Stepmom ordered the Steampot- $42 and My dad ordered the Cioppino- $38. I really enjoyed my shrimp scampi, the flavors were good. My dad and stepmom thought their meals were ok, they felt there could have been more flavor and spice. They didn't mention it or ask for more seasoning but I'm sure the staff would have gave them something to doctor it up! Overall the price was $151 with tip and with my stepmoms discount!! The Staff were friendly and attentive. And I really appreciated that although it was in a casino you couldn't smell any smoke which would have not made for a pleasant experience. If I'm ever in the area again I just may stop by again!!

Disclaimer: this review is not about the food. I have eaten here before and loved the food. This bad review is about the hostess that was incredibly rude. Our family came in as a party of 8. Hostess said that we couldn't be seated together because of the bar but we could be seated as 2 separate groups of 4 that will be eating at different times. We agreed to that and put 2 separate names down and was told the first party would be sat in about 45 min and the second in about an hour. We waited the time and got the first text. Part of our party made it to the hostess within the 10 minute mark but she denied us and said we were too late and we would have to start all over on the waitlist. They sent another text to us and we replied within a minute and showed her the text and she said she never received it. We tried showing her but she kept insisting that there's nothing she can do and she had a long list of people waiting to be sat. Meanwhile the whole bar was basically empty. She never sat anyone after us. We asked to speak to the managers which took over 30 minutes for them to come out. All that time nobody ever got seated. The photo I attached is after we had been waiting for so long to speak to someone and the bar is still completely empty. If she had so many people waiting she should've sat anyone there but instead she wasted the restaurants time and money just to prove a point. When the managers came out they said the same thing that nothing could be done, all while their restaurant sits empty. It's a shame that the chefs never got to cook their great food for us or any other customers because of the hostess but that's the way they choose to run their establishment.

The hostess on June 25th working the 2pm shift was incredibly rude to me and my family. She was lacking in kindness, understanding and overall customer service. My family was very flustered by how she treated them and I am writing this review for their sake.I hope next time they treat their customers with more respect than trying to adhere to their sacred waitlist.Empty seats when they denied us for being ten minutes late. We waited for the supervisor for 30 minutes. Explained everything all the while the seats were never filled

Came to eat at 6pm, the host said it’ll be a one hour wait. Ok no problem, I waited for it. Asked the host if I’m soon to seated at 7. Then was told it’ll be another hour & half at least. I understand if there is complications or it was busy. But they didn’t try to accommodate me at all. If I had known it will be over a 2 hour wait, I wouldn’t have complained & moved somewhere to eat. The fact that I waited an hour just to be told to wait another 1 hour at minimum is inexcusable customer service.
The food was delicious! We ordered a good variety and loved every dish. The service was great. 18% gratuities was added to our party of 8. We added a little extra for the great service! We checked in for our party of 8 at 6 pm and it was ready at around 7:30 pm. Well worth the wait since the food was delicious.

It has limited seating but the sushi is worth the wait. We like it all. Thanks to chefs Gloria and Linda we always enjoy the food and atmosphere. We've tried almost everything our favorite is the rainbow roll and the spicy tuna roll along with the New England clam chowder. Also have had the half oysters.

Drove out to specifically eat here. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:40pm and they refused to seat us. Online it states that today 9/3/2023 they are open until 10pm. Even so they close at 9pm and they refused to serve us. The rude woman who was seating people kept telling me to take a picture of their hours. I showed her what was posted online, that they had special hours today and she just kept telling me to take a picture. Why would you post that you have special hours on a busy night? They lost a lot of business tonight since we weren't the only ones trying to eat.
