Tried the new buffet at casino Morongo. In a sentence. Don't waste your money! Went for a late Saturday brunch. $51 a person is waaaaay too much money for brunch ( even with the (1) free mimosa.The prime rib didn't disappoint, but everything else was disappointing. Shrimp and calamari just weren't good! All breading, no shrimp to speak of.The hot fried chicken was good, just a little too hot for me. The gravy, teriyaki, and lemon fish sauce were so concentrated they weren't good. The desserts were too bland, too sweet, or just not enjoyable.I understand the new concept, and portion control, where everyone isn't touching all the utensils. I even like the smaller plates and portion size, but the quality of the food MUST improve.They need unbiased chefs ( taste testers) to give an honest opinion on the food. I like the old buffet much better. Save your money And go someplace else.

Workers at the Food Stations were less than helpful or welcoming. Doesn’t matter how good the food is if you are made to feel like you are a bother.Clay the manager was not much better.The folks clearing the tables were by far the most pleasant to encounter.Why doesn’t management care enough to instill pride and commitment to a job?Wheelchair accessibility: N/a

Was excited to come back only to feel as though I was a burden to serve. Folks not happy to be working or thankful for a job. Made overall experience very disappointing and left a bad taste for this venue. Definitely not worth $50 a person.
