Went here Sunday 7/16/23 and man, was it delicious!!I've been coming here for a while, and this place never lets me down. I always get the "Red-Menudo." And I don't know what their secret is, but it's damn good!!I give this place a big "Viva Mexico," and 5 stars baby!!

Great food and excellent service, I hardly recommend this restaurant from excellent food menu, from birria, tacos, menudo, and homemade tortillas, our waiter Martin is always efficient serving our favor homemade cafe de olla.

This place is subpar, probably the cleanest menudo. Birria is what ever. They finally have real Jamaica, not the bottle one. Tortillas are good. Clean. My favorite part is the guy who sells pan dulce outside

First we pay 50 dollars for birria and tacos and the tacos con chorizo where made with fried fries then the women who was attending us was being mean and sarcastic is really bad service to be honest

Definitely a must visit for breakfast. Menudo comes in different sizes, and tons of flavor. The cafecito was perfectly made and warm. The birria and menudo had the potential to be more flavorful but overall good portion. The meat was soft and juicy. The TORTILLAS ARE HANDMADE, and HOT. The service was PHENOMENAL! Jorge was amazing! The ambiance was top tier the weather was nice and they were playing Luis Miguel outside. It was a great time. Totally worth it!

Theee best menudo and birria I've ever had. Great portions, the small and regular menudo bowls may look like they're the same but they're not. Regular bowl is deeper and has way more, but small is not that small definitely full and filling! They have some bomb homemade tortillas and one of the best red salsas! Highly recommend a res birria taco, so delicious! Great friendly service and super attentive. Beautiful Mexican style atmosphere.

Bomb Birrieria in Chula Vista! Service is very pleasant, so much to choose from, but you don't want to pass up their BIRRIA DE CHIVO.That's the original authentic birria made from goat that Jalisco is known for.Ambiance is very homey, and the food is so very tasty and soulful. Do not pass up this local hidden gem!

This place is a must if you in Chula Vista!! Today I have to say the food was even more delicious our waiter was so amazing I wish I had gotten his name!! My family and I came here as we always do when we in the 619 the food is so good. And I like how they have stay true with there price. I wish they had a location in LA... thanks to my waiter for being so amazing and good with my son. Hope you next time we come.

Out of curiosity, we went to this place after someone's recommendation.I can tell you now, we will never see or taste Mexican food the same way again. This place has THE ABSOLUTE BEST Menudo, and Birria we have ever tasted.It took a good half hour before we were seated, since there were plenty of other customers waiting before us, but after being seated and served it was well worth the wait.We were in SD county from OC (1.5 hour away)on a daytrip, We would definitely drive down for the food again.
Ridiculous. Hole in the wall, but delicious. Tamales are 2x bigger than I’m used to. Sabroso!!

Everytime we come here is a good experience..Food on point.. new on the menu quesadilla de chicharrón... Wow! It's delicious!!! As always tacos de birria de chivo y buche ar emy favorite. Wife always ask for tacos de birria de res and lengua. Everything is delicious!Service is awesome.

Some of the best food in SD. The stewed goat stew was amazing. Tender and flavorful chunks of meat in a dark stew with onions and avocado. Not greasy at all. just amazing.The seared goat meat and corn tortillas were cooked well. I think they slow cook the goat meat until its tender and then sear it right before serving which gives it a great caramelized flavor while retaining its tenderness. This leads to a few hard pieces of cartilage which can be a bit annoying but worth it.Food 4.7/5.0Service 4/5Vibe 4/5

This is by far one of the best birria establishments that is as authentic as Guadalajara Mexico I am Mexican and truly say the food here hit home best feeling ever. I ordered Birria de Chivo a side of rice comes with freshly made corn tortillas and a taco of birria with chicharron. I almost cried to tears trying the delicious flavorful birria it's been years since I been to Mexico. The food was a pleasant experience I highly recommend. Customer service is very outgoing and attentive.
