Was driving through just looking for a cup of coffee and went to Coyote Cafe just expecting a coffee shop but was pleasantly surprised that it was a diner. The restaurant was very clean with lots of lovely art giving an incredible atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice and quick with serving our coffee and food. The price of the food was very reasonable, total before tip was $35.56 for 2 meals with coffee. Will be a regular stop on our travels

Best cafe in town! The food is always consistently good and the servers are always friendly. They have a bit of coyote/ wolf themed art, the place has a very homey atmosphere.

First time here and I liked it. The waitress was very friendly and the food was very delicious.One thing I noticed is that a lot of Veterans come and that makes the place quiet without much noise.
Food, service boo, boo. I live in Cal. City. Been to Coyote Cafe since approx. Late 1900's when my Dad moved to Cal City. Been to and recommended Coyote Cafe to people. Today Nov. 5, 23 ordered 2 double cheeseburgers with fries. 1 cheeseburger with fries. Phone order. Was notified my order would be ready approx. 20 minutes. O.k. was notified by phone my order was ready. Walked into coyote Cafe approx 5 minutes after call. NO PROBLEM. Handed cashier debit card, NO PROBLEM 52.oo and something few cent accepted, NO PROBLEM. CASHIER walked PASSED me to take food to table customers. SLIGHT PROBLEM! cashier re-entered kitchen right pass me. Asked for my food. Her reply was " oh, it's right there. Don't care about right there. My 52.00 is right there in your cash register. I'd rather you don't accept my money at all. My money has the equal value of that man you served before me !

ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, 1 cheeseburger, all 3 orders with fries. was informed order would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. okay. arrived 5 minutes after i received courtesy call from coyote cafe my order was ready. i immediately drove to coyote cafe. i paid 52.oo and something few cent. no problem. the cashier immediately walked away and walked passed me to serve someone sitting at at a table their food. ¹¹ssed me to reenter the kitchen which is when i requested my food. thing. also look at my soggy lettece. the fries were the bomb as usual.only taking my time to post this is because my money means just as much much as the next man's soggy lettece, no onion as ordered, really soggy tomatoes. liked coyote cafe food. but, i forgot to mention cashier walked pass me after she credited my 52.0? to my debit card !

Ordered huevos rancheros with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were the only good thing. Huevos rancheros was very bland, watery, and a little bitter. Waitress/Owner took our almost full plate away without saying a word to us. Other Waitress came by and asked how things were then turned around and walked away before we could even answer. Told the busboy at checkout that the food was gross with the owner right behind him. He at least apologized.
