This donut shop is never NEVER here on the hours they jave posted. I have been both morning and afternoon on the hours posted and waisted time and gas on trips yo this donut shop from Ridgecrest Ca. So LAME!

I like the girl that served my food. She was very nice and the donuts weren’t too expensive I paid 10$ for a dozen. The papusas were really good too and authentic! My friends and family loved them.

Went in for a half dozen and I ended up costing me $10 for FOUR doughnuts. There was a card fee which was expected but I can’t believe the price. I got two maple sprinkle doughnuts and two blue frosting doughnuts for my kids. The lady behind the counter seemed rude, didn’t smile, and abruptly put the box on the counter. She told me it would be $11.99 for a half dozen and a whole dozen would have been $23.98 (even more if you used a card). She also used the same gloves for the cash register to also touch the doughnuts. Unsanitary and gross. The atmosphere, customer service, and pricing was not pleasant. Will not be going back there which is unfortunate because it’s the only shop in town. Will gladly be taking my family the hour + drive elsewhere.

A great place to get fresh donuts & pupusas, aside from the other yummy stuff they sell like menudo & pozole.

Place is clean & service is friendly.

Husband & I get a donut each & 6 pupusas every Saturday. When he gets home with the freshly made, soft 🍩 donuts & made fresh that 🌞🕖 morning, pupusas, he cooks up & adds an over easy 🍳 egg to the top of the pupusa. He stacks it as so, pupusa, tomate sauce & cabbage cortido, adds the egg on the top of that, chops up and tops the stack with some fresh jalapeños and you have yourself a protein packed breakfast that keeps your belly feeling full for most of the day. We do that 2 other times during the week. Add yourself a cup of ☕️ coffee & a glass of oj 🍊🥤and buen provecho 😋. That's our breakfast 3 times a week from the 6 pack of chicharrón y frijol pupusas that we get every Saturday for $15. With the price of eggs & eating out....this is how we cheat & can afford it 😉

I would HIGHLY recommend trying them out, if you haven't already &/or try the other items they make besides the donuts. I'm guessing you won't be sorry 🥯🫓🥘🍲🍩🧁 best to arrive early as the donuts usually don't last very long. Saturday morning, I know for a fact, is a fantastic time to get the freshest donuts 🎆🎉

Good variety, fresh donuts, and quality customer service. My son and I enjoy going to grab a donut on the weekends. Not really a eat in establishment, but that works for us.

Have been several times and have always been great! The latest 2 dozen I brought into work were exceptional.
At least 6 of my coworkers told me they were the best donuts they EVER had, and I agree. This place is a true 93505 gem!

Twice in last 6 weeks they've been closed between 5-7 a.m. when they should be open! Left a note for owner to call me first time (no call). July 5th they didN0T have a sign on door, so I called at 6:52am. She said 0pen at 7 am, why NOT just let me in??!?!

McD's got my business. Not sure about returning to Elsy's...

Donuts are always fresh, and they taste super good! Also for a cheap price. The workers are straight up angels, super nice and always smiling.
I hope this place will become more popular. If you are visiting California city, try these donuts! 5 stars.

There isn't alot offered in town so I was ecstatic to find a donut place in town. They were delicious but I think we may have to stop going. They keep changing the prices and their hours which is very confusing. First they were closing at 8 which was convenient then it changed to 6. One day I went in and they said cake donuts are $0.50 more so I skipped them and got other donuts to make a dozen. This time they said jelly donuts are $0.50 more. When my husband asked why the prices keep changing the person working said they didn't know they just charged what they were told to charge. I travel from LA to Calcity often so I understand that there isn't alot available to us but its still alot. I can't believe I spent $20 on 12 donuts because jelly donuts are now more expensive which is our favorite donut their 💔 the struggle is real. I already don't eat around calcity anymore because of pricing and cook at home because I'm on a very tight budget and now my little splurge of $15.99 for a dozen is going out the door. For $15.99 I understand the price for the variety of donuts but if certain donuts are going to cost more now and change abruptly we might start going even less often then we already do.
