This place is a hidden gem. While they have the standard fare you see at most Thai restaurants, The Golden Bamboo has unique items I'd never seen before, like the khao soi. The food arrived quickly and was all quite delicious. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The Vietnamese Pho soup looks Ok but totally tasteless. With water instead of broth (and it was supposed to be slow-cooked) ;) Beef like chewing gum. Thai noodles - tasteless. I do not know what's wrong? I've eaten at over 100 Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in my life and this one has a level of taste like a hospital for surgery patients. Golden Bamboo! Add salt, soy sauce, chilli, sugar, star anise or whatever else. And let me eat with smile. Thai is the most colorful quisine, not the blendest. Kind regards.
