I originally wanted to place a mobile order but all of the add ins were not available so I decided to drive down instead. I walked in at 10:01pm because as per the mobile app and Google it stated that they close at 11pm. Upon entering a guy asked if I had placed a mobile order because if not they wouldn’t be able to service me. I asked what time did they close he said 10, I told him okay but they should have someone update their online information as I was going out the door and he sarcastically proceeded to tell me will it’s on the door ( which by the way a group of 6 people were standing in front of ). 1st off How would I know that before arriving if both google and the mobile app says different so the rude response was unnecessary and unprofessional. 2nd off I was given him a proper suggestion to prevent both customers and the staff for having this same issue in the future.
Great place! Always on point!

My Girlfriend and i arrived at 9:40 pm, 20 minutes before closing time. Unfortunately there was a big group ahead of us, but we were looking forward to some good ice cream and a friendly atmosphere like you would expect from an ice cream parlor. So we patiently waited our turn and was enjoying the music and even dancing, however when it was our turn we were treated rudely by one of the workers who made it very clear that her main concern was that the store was closing in 10 minutes and i was asking too many questions regarding a new product that theyre literally advertising currently. It doesnt take 10 minutes to make an ice cream, it takes even less to ruin a paying customers evening and good mood. I understand that maybe the worker was having a bad night, but youre at work you dont get paid to take out your frustrations on customers that are literally going to a place that is associated with happiness and good memories. I would much rather go to stater brothers 100 ft away and spend my money elsewhere.
As someone who has worked in customer service I usually don’t complain, but Cold stone of Calimesa deserves it! My boyfriend and I walked in and stood in line for a minute. I placed a mobile order, and didn’t know if I should stand in the line or “skip the line” like the entire purpose of mobile ordering is. I saw someone walk up with a mobile order, so I went right behind them and stood at one of the registers (the taller brunette was also very snippy and rude to them as well). The store was busy, so the workers were obviously busy filling orders/taking orders and laughing/chatting with each other. I kept waiting at the register hoping one of the girls that were just mixing ice cream would ask if I had a mobile order and help me, however, I was unaware it was so complicated. There was a shorter girl with a brunette braid that was helping someone at the register beside me, because I was standing at the other one (in hindsight maybe it was annoying I was standing at the register, but I thought I would just show them my order and they would give it to me, like it’s their job to do). I believe I said to my boyfriend, “we have a mobile order, I don’t get why they can’t help us” because the taller brunette girl was just mixing ice cream and could have stopped chatting with her coworkers to look up and ask if I had a mobile order or inquire why I was standing there. There were mobile orders printing on the receipt printer and the blonde girl said something along the lines of, “I’m just gonna quit”. The taller brunette girl with two braids asked if I had a mobile order, I said yes and showed her my phone. She asked for a name and I said, “I don’t think there is a name” because I didn’t put one in when I checked out online, and I had never place a mobile order from Cold Stone before. I told her what ice cream the order was and she looked in the freezer and pulled out a bag saying, “Madaline?” I said yes, and she then said, “well, that’s the name”. She proceeded to slide the bag over to me across the counter and look at me again saying, “yeah, that’s a name”. I then slid the bag back to her and said, “you don’t have to have an attitude”, she said, “well, you paid for it, girl” and then I walked out. Just super rude and unprofessional. I get that rushes are annoying and stressful, and maybe I was putting off a vibe I didn’t mean to, but whatever the situation was, she was extremely rude. You serve ice cream… you get rushes and the store gets busy, it’s not an emergency room, your job isn’t hard. If you can’t handle the stress of an ice cream dinner rush, reevaluate your options. Stop hiring entitled teenagers who can’t compartmentalize a little bit of stress from a rush.

The waffle cup is soggy that's even before the watermelon sorbet got melted.
Their prices was too high: 2 cups of "like it" and the small waffle cup costed as almost $28.00

They never have milk, and I'm starting to feel like it's an excuse not to make a shake. It's the third time I've gone in for one and it's always, "we're out". Stater Bros is across the street, walk and get a gallon.
