A great shop. There's a deli with plates you can get and eat there (in the biergarten) but this review is mostly for the shop.
It's a small store but they have a lot of great German stuff there and a big deli/butcher counter, and if you're lucky you'll see George (Georg) himself, nearly 90 and still behind the counter! Always worth a trip.

Absolutely love George’s Market! The atmosphere is fantastic. It's like a little slice of Germany dropped into Calimesa the way Dorothy’s house landed in Oz. The beer garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a sandwich and a cold brew.
Their German grocery selection is excellent. The house-made bratwurst is some of the best I’ve ever had, and they also carry a variety of flavored frozen brats from another SoCal German butcher—which have never disappointed. While I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, the desserts and German potato salad are absolutely out of this world.
The staff is always friendly, helpful, and eager to explain everything. I’m constantly looking for an excuse to go back. If you’re craving a taste of Germany, or just want something a little different in Southern California, do yourself a favor and take a drive to George’s Market. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Family owned business with incredible service and German aesthetic. The market has many hard-to-find imports with an wide selection of sweets and beer. Their biergarten restaurant/ deli is also great. Last time I visited, their power was out and they STILL provided amazing service.
