Absolutely love George’s Market! The atmosphere is fantastic. It's like a little slice of Germany dropped into Calimesa the way Dorothy’s house landed in Oz. The beer garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a sandwich and a cold brew.
Their German grocery selection is excellent. The house-made bratwurst is some of the best I’ve ever had, and they also carry a variety of flavored frozen brats from another SoCal German butcher—which have never disappointed....

Family owned business with incredible service and German aesthetic. The market has many hard-to-find imports with an wide selection of sweets and beer. Their biergarten restaurant/ deli is also great. Last time I visited, their power was out and they STILL provided amazing service.

It's a small store but they have a lot of great German stuff there and a big deli/butcher counter, and if you're lucky you'll see George (Georg) himself, nearly 90 and still behind the counter! Always worth a trip.
