The server was working all by themselves on 2/21 (Sat) afternoon and was incredibly busy, but they remained super friendly and professional throughout. The food was amazing too. Also, I felt so bad that my child accidentally dropped and broke a glass I really appreciate how they handled it. Thank you!

Love love love this place. I haven't had anything bad on the menu that I've tried, and I've tried a lot of things. My favorites are for appateizer the fried artichoke hearts, Dinner the Stacked Oscar, chicken scaloppini, Haus schnitzel (they have regular schnitzel but I don't get along with pork), the beet salad, the pear and chicken flatbread, the Wise Guy sandwich (yummy), flat iron steak (although I just had that and it was really salty this time - but they are so nice and appreciate your input). Dessert's are all good. When you do take out, the presentation and food is as good as if you ate at the tea.

Had light and crispy fish and chips. Upgrade to fries. Also had the Jeager schnitzel. Everything on that plate jumped out and offered a unique flavor. The mushroom onion gravy tasted so homemade I could taste the seasoned cast iron skillet. We live 50 miles from here but it’s right off the i10 so we’ll be back.

Restaurant was empty save for our table . My husband ordered the Wise Guy with add Pastrami. This sandwich came with chicken, turkey , ham, and cheese. The only modification he asked was to remove the cheese because he’s lactose intolerant. His sandwich that came out was a chicken sandwich. No turkey, no ham. When he opened the whole thing up and asked, he was told that Pastrami placed on it. He just must not see it. Later, the waitress brought out a bowl of pastrami, and stated this was in case he needed more. How can I have some more of nothing. Also, upon receiving our bill and leaving, we were told by our waitress that the kitchen would not be accommodating our accommodation request in The future, and that specific waiters have guidelines where they will not make any adjustments for the customer. It was kind of a warning. Well, I said my daughter is autistic and has textural issues. So I ordered lamb chops without the sauce. I felt so unwelcome and embarrassed we will ever go back. We simply ask for no sauce and no Cheese. Again, we are human and thus suffer the human condition.

Haus Schnitzel was excellent. Panko and coconut breading made for fabulous crunch. The veggies are tender, buttery and oh so good. Let’s not forget the roasted potatoes!! I really wanted to eat the entire plate, but I forced myself to leave room for bread pudding. Samantha was amazing.

Ordered appetizers and dessert. Awesome. Look forward to returning hungry. Was not very hungry so the hot apple strolen with ice cream was huge. The potato deep fried with garlic and Parmesan cheese was way to much. Brought most of both home and finished it off later. The menu was full of my favorite German foods and it was difficult to choose from the fried brussel sprouts with bacon or one of the 2 schnitzel dishes. Think I should have ordered all and just ate it later. There where other things on the menu that sounded outstanding and as there are no German restaurant s near Riverside or Moreno valley this was a real treat.

The Haus Bistro provided a great lunch stop to meet up with a friend.
I had the Steak Sandwich which features tri-tip with gorgonzola cheese, unconventional, but oh so scrumptious and quite the pairing. Hats off to the creator of this sandwich.
The Steak Sandwich was ordered with Haus-made chips which were outstanding and a perfect accompanyment to the rich sandwich.
Our server was Georgie, and she did a fantastic job welcoming us for our first visit and providing an orientation to the food and draft beer menu, and of course table service too.
