Wonderful bakery and cafe with vegan options for mainly the breads! In terms of pastries the pretzel is vegan! Check their schedule to see when they’ll have what and the earlier you get there the greater the chance items wont be sold out!
There is a reason this spot has SUCH a high rating. It is truly a hidden gem in Calimesa!
I visited recently with a buddy, trying out a Country Sourdough, a Cinnamon Roll and a cheese pastry (with everything bagel seasoning on top). EVERY item was truly incredible!
The bread is perfect, with a perfectly crunchy crust, and soft-fluffy crumb inside. It toasts up wonderfully and is unreal as avocado toast!
The cinammon roll was one of the most unique ones I've had, made with what seemed like a hybrid of dough and pastry dough, but with a great chew to it, and the frosting was perfection.
Finally the savory cheese danish was wildy delicious.
I'm certain there's nothing at this spot that isn't absolutely incredible, and I look forward to going back and trying more of their delicacies!
Additionally, the service and all the employees were wonderful to interact with and seemed like they genuinely love working at the place! What a great experience over all!

The place is always busy and sells out. Try to come before 10 am if possible. The pastries are really good worth every penny. Haven't tried the bread but I'm sure is equally as good. There is a coffee inside right next to it. The front desk is split. Amazing desserts. Good coffee. Very popular location that is recommended to stop by if you are in the area or driving by.

OMG! You have to try the ... EVERYTHING! the sticky buns are next level, the Kouign-amann was out of this world delicious. The staff are fantastic and you have to try the orange cardamon latte. It's delicate and delicious.

Excellent food and friendly staff! This place is worth driving out to. I tried the Kouign Amann and the Sticky Bun. Both amazing, I think the Sticky Bun is my favorite though. I also got an Apple Cider Donut latte, highly recommend that as well. Nice hit of spiced apple, not too sweet and no bitterness from the coffee. A great fall drink!

They bake the best sourdough bread we've had anywhere in California. And the quality has not changed over the years nor with the move to the larger space. Their viennoiserie is consistently superb and delicious. The staff is always very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we may have. Absolutely love this place! 😊

Came it to try the sourdough bread and ended up with several delicious pastries. The croissants are fantastic and so is the bread. They also gave us a free baguette when I mentioned it was our first time here. That was very sweet of them. Can't wait to go back!!!

I found out about this bakery during the pandemic and have been a frequent patron ever since. The best sourdough in the IE, no competition. The pastries are amazing as well. Be prepared for things to sell out early!
