Cool 😎 to take the boat across and explore
We had drinks there before the dinner at the resort. It's a gazebo like setting shielding you from the wind. Lady at the bar was fast and helpful. Bring cash for faster checkout.
I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years, there’s nothing more charming than having a cocktail on the lake, while I couldn’t enjoy adult drinks back then, my kids now love hanging out on the docks and seeing the boats pull in at sunrise. You can’t get a better picturesque view than right here at Poor George’s.
I had a great time kayaking on the river and enjoyed the sunsets! The restaurant was GREAT in terms of food quality and service, prices are reasonable, sunsets were incredible! I had a great time and will definitely go back!
For almost 7 years, we would go to opening weekend dinner at Sardine Lake Resort with our friends. The food, service and atmosphere can't be beat. In 2018, we were engaged there and in 2021, we were married there. Getting married there wasn't our original plan since our 85 person guest list would be much too big for the space. But when our wedding was destroyed due to COVID and our venue being incredibly unprofessional, we were forced to figure out plan B. The silver lining of downsizing our guest list meant that we could hold our ceremony at Sardine Lake Resort. Thankfully, Lee stepped in and was so kind through the process of not only re-planning our wedding but in providing a friendly ear while we navigated our issues with the other venue. Our day could not have been more perfect. Our guests still comment on how unreal and beautiful the view was. In the end, I believe that everything worked out for the best. We are forever grateful to have celebrated our union by bringing our loved ones to a place that was already so special to us. We cannot wait to return for years to come as our family grows! The food was delicious ! Good friendly service too!
Boathouse bar with the full view. Pre dinner drinks. Inside for 8pm dinner seating. The restaurant was organized and things were flowing. Good food. Great setting! We brought wine and $15 corkage fee was reasonable
Definitely the Lake, and the off-roading experience! Scary as fir timers but we made it. Bucket list big
It's a beautiful and fun place for the whole family to come together. And make some great MEMORIES
