Located in a tired old strip center with mostly vacant storefronts you'll find this local hangout.Should be named Bubba's Breakfast & Burgers Too.I'd been here before, maybe 15-years ago. There must have been a reason I didn't come back, well.... I'm in no hurry to try again. My omelette "Hi Sierra" was nothing special, just O.K. I know restaurants have been through tough times recently but if Bubba's owner could figure out a way to do something about the filthy carpet it would be money well spent. Plus 1-Star for having HOT water in the tap in the restroom sink.

Bubbas is now clean. The burger was only ok even a bit salty. Was hoping to make it a go to place, but not there yet. Many locals were there, so some do enjoy it. Try it for yourself.

My gigantic burger ? straight trash ran out of buns gave me bread . The server had the worst attitude. The tomatoes were cut into wierd wedges . The meat was loose an flavorless. I liked the fries although no crunch at all. I also tried their biscuits gravy (basic) their eggs an hash browns (eggs were cooked Right ?) has browns need more browning not supposed to be soggy hash . An asked for sausage to substitute bacon ? they still gave me bacon. The breakfast was way better then the lunch . But that is not saying much . I'd rather Denny's an I am no Denny's fan . Save your money not to mention they asked if I want a large soda or small . I ordered a large an they came out with two cans of coke ????

My first time at Bubba. Burgers are huge you need lots of napkin to clean your face and mouth constantly, everything we ate was delicious and perfectly made. Clean and nice place to be at. I will recommend this place for everyone to visit and have some lunch or dinner. 10/10

Coming home from Placerville we like to come down Green Valley Road to avoid the noise of frustrated commuters. My wife noticed this place and said she wanted to try it. I didn't want to but I figured anytime she is that decisive I may want to just hop to it. When we came in there was a large party and just one guy serving everyone in the dining room. He never seemed frantic or freaked out. He told us he sent the other server home because it was slow and then it got busy right after. So we were patient and within a reasonable wait we had ordered drinks and dinner. I honestly have never had fried chicken I loved this much. Everything we ordered was really great and the place was just a breath of fresh air. Wasn't a typical fussy nonsense down in the city. It was GOOD FOOD served right! Simple as that. We will be back!
