Best Chinese food anywhere. I can't seem to come here enough.It's so enjoyable and they're friendly and they have good service and the food is to die for literally.But you don't want to do that. I personally have been coming here for over twenty years.Have great memories with family and friends, here also. I recommend it to anybody and everybody.And I have tried out many chinese restaurants in elroda county in placerville and south lake tahoe in thulsome and eldorado.Hills, you name it, i've tried it.There's only one place that is identical to the same quality food and service and it's not located in our town.It's located in santa cruz sad to say that chinese restaurant closed down.So this is now number one in our hearts and minds.

We Always enjoy coming here as their food and service is the Best.
We live in Cool, but travel here instead as we can't find any better Chinese food near us.
The whole family is always very friendly too.
It amazes us how much better the food here is compared to our options near us...well worth the drive.

Excellent food every time and great service! My favorites are egg flour soup, potstickers, chow mien, friend rice, honey walnut shrimp, general chicken, orange chicken, you really can’t go wrong!

location is in a awkward spot, food is great but the only thing is. Is phone service I just talked to a lady on the phone she was ruder than hell

This family owned restaurant is great. The food is delicious and service is consistent. I moved well over an hour away and make the drive to pick-up or dine-in.

Been going to China City since moving to the area in 1998. Love the food and the staff knows us by name and order.

Ordered pot stickers, sesame beef, walnut chicken, pork fried rice, and a pot of tea.

The tea was good and the pot stickers were excellent, perfectly crispy on one side.

The walnut chicken was mid, the sauce and walnuts were put on cold over the fried shrimp on a bed of iceberg lettuce. Cold walnut sauce was disappointing.

The sesame beef was 90% bread, and any beef to be found was paper thin and miserable.

Interior was modest and fairly clean.

They did remove the sesame beef from our bill upon request which I appreciated.

We Sat today and waited for them to open I went to the door at 11:10 and door was still locked and no lights on. Eating somewhere else today. Sad

Food is so good I recommend their pot stickers

One of our all-time EDC favorites with excellent food and amazing service! We've been coming here for 15++ years. The super fresh and tasty food has remained consistently great through all of that time. They make what my husband has declared to be the orange chicken in EDC. Plus, you know the service is exceptional when you move away for several years, and when you come back, not only do they remember your usuals, they remember your kids and ask about them. Thank you for being awesome, China City!!
