I have no complaints about the food. My complaint is with the service. The employees are rude and unfriendly. Our server said a total of 4 words to us and after our food was delivered no one came back to the table to see if we needed anything. When we paid our bill at the counter the cashier didn't speak to us. He put the receipt that needed to be signed in front of us and tossed the customer copy across the counter along with my credit card.

By far the best Chinese food in the area. My wife and I try to make a point to visit at least every two weeks. Favorites: General Chicken & Honey Walnut Prawns

Best place to eat in Cameron Park. Fairly quick sit down dining, priced right, and the general chicken calls me fortnightly.

Best chinese food around! They are always busy so I recommend you call in takeout on the phone or you will be waiting a half hour or more for food order. Dine in is faster. They could use a new location and update the inside of their restaurant to something nicer.

A few months ago, I brought my granddaughter to China City for dinner, and we had a very nice meal with good service. I felt it was a good value and told my husband he needed to give the place another try, since our previous experience together had been very disappointing. Tonight, he and I went to China City for dinner, and it will likely be our last time. We ordered the dinner "B," which included soup, one fried shrimp each, an egg roll each, and two entrees chosen from the list. We waited an exceptionally long time to receive the appetizers, even though they were not especially busy. The fried shrimp was tasteless; the egg roll was ok, but nothing special. We had another very long wait for our entrees. The soup never arrived, but no one checked in on us, so we didn't get a chance to mention it until we asked for boxes to take home our leftovers. We were given the soup in a take out container, but I can't speak to it because I haven't tried it yet. Back to the entrées - one was shrimp and snow peas, and it was pretty good. The second entree was broccoli beef. The flavor was ok, but the beef had no texture whatsoever. I know they call this "velveting," but they took it way too far. Its texture was more like fat, but it didn't look fatty. It was like no beef I've ever had. No texture, no flavor. We brought it home, but I don't think this will be eaten. All in all, tonight was a very disappointing experience.

Delicious food, stayed great for takeout and the service was very friendly. The Mongolian beef was fire.

Honestly, they deserve a 3 rating, but I'm offsetting their undeserved 4.3 rating with a 2. Some dishes are very good (Beef with Broccoli), but not amazing. However, their Orange Chicken was the worst I've ever eaten. It was breaded chicken gristle (chewy inedible meat) that is over-cooked in an orange sause. For some reason, I kept spitting out big chunks of sliced ginger. In summary, don't order Orange Chicken.

The food is amazing and comes in large portions. I enjoy eating in the restaurant because the employees are so friendly and make the whole experience so comfortable. I've been going to this family owned business for 15 years and have never been disappointed!
