Frank Vilt's Cakes

Frank took my idea and made it reality. I did not want pretty, ordinary or basic. Cake brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. The flavors were out of this world. I asked for champagne and strawberry cake. Strawberry flavor not part of his normal flavors. Strawberry cake hade chocolate filling and champagne had raspberry filling. Everyone had a slice and then some. Some people even asked to take some home. The flavors were exceptional. I gave his name out to most of my guests because they wanted to know who and where the baker is. I will definitely be going back. He will always be my baker. Master at flavor artist at design. Thank you Frank for this masterful cake, you made my special day

We have ordered many cakes here over the years and you just can’t do better than Franks Cakes. The attention to detail and creativity is amazing. Frank just made my wife a cake shaped like starship enterprise for her birthday today. Coolest cake I have ever seen can’t thank you enough it sure made her day! You’ll never be disappointed getting a cake from Franks !

First of all, YUM.

Frank (and his team) is an amazing baker! He recently baked all our desserts for our wedding and they did not disapoint, everyone loved them so much! He was a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end.

The cake tasting he set up was amazing for my husband and I. They gave us so much time and no pressure, he never felt rushed to finish our tasting. They also provided SO MANY options to taste (it was almost overhwelming)! What a fun day though, and we were sent home with so many desserts.

Our cake the day of was beautiful and tasted SO GOOD. The frosting is thick and delicious without being overly sweet. All the mini desserts we ordered were also fantastic. We ordered chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, vanilla cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese frosting, gluten free carrot cake cupcakes (these were surprisingly good for gluten free, you could barely tell!), pineapple upside cakes (biggest hit by far), cheesecake with berries, and a mini fruit tart. Our main cake was champagne with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

Super rude on the phone when we had asked them to consider supporting for our local event with a very small cupcake order. When they declined to donate and we were discussing pricing of working with our budget, he offered options and then took them back, declined, and with a bad attitude. A baker in Folsom was happy to take our paid order with no issues.

Just visited this bakery. It was the best I had ever been to. The cookies and desserts were fantastic. Our daughter went back in after tasting a sample and couldn’t quit saying how much she enjoyed them. She want us to know that one of the men, if single, was going to be her future husband.

Me and my husband ordered our desserts and wedding cake here and they were fabulous! First let me just say that all the things they had us try at our tasting were nothing tasted less than amazing. The mini desserts were made with so much care and finesse. The cakes were so moist and the frosting was light and flavorful. I highly recommend Frank’s Cakes!

Frank did the cake and desserts for our wedding. The cake was beautiful and the Cannolis were delicious. It’s been a few weeks and people are still asking about the Cannolis! Frank even brought us a cake stand when the one we had was too small and saved the day. I fully recommend Frank for whatever occasion you need!

Frank was excellent to work with. I had a cake testing for our wedding & showed him our vision for my cake and what we wanted to have for our guests (cupcakes). Our cake was incredibly delicious and so superb in the design. Guests really enjoy their cupcakes too. I 10/10 recommend having your desserts made by Frank. He delivered to our venue in Loomis, CA on time and made sure we had some take home boxes in case their were left overs.
