Ordered our first cake here - a Princess cake for my girls' 18th birthday! Absolutely hands down the best we've had! And we've had a LOT of princess cakes from various bakeries in the Bay Area.

We try to come here when we are in the area and it's always good. But once a year on this day, we are celebrating my late father and we always come in for treats. Not only is frank and his staff so kind, they seem to always have something delicious to eat in honor of my sweets loving dad. It's such a hard day and our frank vilts visit makes it a little easier.

Don't know about the quality of food he's willing to make but when my fiancée called to try to setup a taste testing using coconut oil instead vegetable oil due to an allergy restriction, Frank was yelling in the background of the call that he "ain't going to make no coconut oil cake for taste testing..." unless we were to buy a full layer of cake for $75.00 for each flavor we wanted to try, instead of a small cake just for taste testing, so we could decide on a flavor. What a complete and utter Jack-a#$!!! Unless you want to have to deal with a premaddonna a$#h0!3, which by nature are unpredictable pr!ck$, I'd suggest you find another baker. God help someone who goes to him asking for the gluten free option he advertises in his google blurb about his business. What a jerk!We contacted another baker, with obviously more creativity in baking cakes, and they were willing to work with us on a coconut oil cake but also suggested that just using butter instead of coconut oil would be easier and likely taste just as good or better. I guess Frank Vilt didn't have the experience, or imagination enough, to make this suggestion and/or work with us on the cake for our wedding event.With such an attitude, yelling at employees, unwilling to make suggestions, charging outragious amounts for a simple tasting cake, and more...I'm glad we're going to someone else. We're giving JoJo's Bakery our business, they've been nice, seeks answers to our concerns, costs less, and are working hard for our business.

In a word? FANTASTIC!! Frank is friendly and professional, and also very patient. My fiancé and I (mostly me) had a lot of questions about our wedding cake regarding sizing, flavors, and decoration. He was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. The store front was also great, and we even bought a small cake to go from the display case and some cookies! 10/10 will be back.

Best pumpkin pie for thanksgiving!! Everyone loved it! Ordered ahead and was perfect pick up ahead! Can't wait for the Christmas holiday treat menu! Have tried several bakeries in the past, franks was absolutely the best!!

We used Frank for our wedding! The cake and desserts were amazing. I am gluten free and he made a gluten free cake (that so many guests commented they couldn't tell it was gluten free). The quality of his desserts is incredible. I highly recommend will definitely purchase from him again in the future.

Frank Vilt made my wedding cake for my wedding at Serrano Country Club last June. It was gorgeous and delicious. Everyone loved it. My florist provided the flowers, but Frank put them on the cake. I highly recommend this business. They helped make my wedding perfect. :)

What a joke. First photo is what was ordered, 2nd photo is what was received. I provided the figurines and the paper cake topper. So they basically added a weak scallop around the edges of a basic cake and threw a tiny pizza on top. For $75. They never once contacted us to advise the design couldn't be made as ordered. We never heard anything from them until we arrived to pick up the cake on the day of the party it was for, and they said they didn't have time to fix it. The grocery story would have done a better job. Absurd. Will never return.

Frank Vilt made the cake and desserts for our wedding at Sequoia Mansion in Placerville. What a HIT! Our guests LOVED the dessert bar. We had the Sasquatch bars, lemon bars, oatmeal raisin cookies, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and mini chocolate cupcakes. Everything was amazing. Thank you, Frank!

We hired Frank to do our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! It was so hard to decide which flavor and pairing to pick because everything they make is amazing. We ended up going with three different flavors for the wedding and each were perfect. Our guests loved the desserts and they looked just fabulous!
