Thought to leave a review for my favorite sushi spot in the entire world since I miss it. Absolutely everything is phenomenal, from the service to food. I have yet to have a bad experience here! Each roll is so unique and flavorful, my favorite is the baked salmon (I do love the raw rolls too). COME TRY!!

Average food, average service, very hefty prices for a basic Asian taqueria vibe. I’m very disappointed because 10-15 beer/saki should only come with great service/atmosphere/service….not a run of the mill strip mall Asian (Chinese/Japanese cuisine) place with basic decor. Reminds me of a Poke place. Cold cafeteria vibe.

They had a very large party, and our table. Even though they were swamped with working the large group, they stayed on top of our table.

The food was excellent. I came with three generations and everyone found something they enjoyed. Kids to grampa.

By far some of the best, if not THE best, sushi within a 30-min drive of Folsom / El Dorado Hills. Yes the rolls are absolutely outstanding, well thought out with flavor and texture combinations, but what people sometimes overlook are the basics. Making consistently great sushi rice is what separates a true sushi master. These folks have it nailed, every time. This, along with their attention to detail on their "Special Nigiri" items makes them truly stand out from most all other places. Even the famous Mikuni chain cannot compete with the quality of what they can put out.

While I love Mikasa and have always had incredible experiences there and think the food is ahhhhhmazing, I was really disappointed when I took my friend there for her birthday only to find out that Mikasa was closed with new hours posted on the window, but not online. Please update your hours online.
