Not a great variety of entrees to choose from. On the expensive side. I had Scampi, was very good. We had the mushroom appetizer, fantastic! Husband had the Rib-eye special, excellent, friend had the Filet with pate said it was very good.

We went there for Friday prime rib, not serving it. Really disappointed! Settled for filets. I ordered medium rare, it was well done! The potatoes they served were COLD, other’s meals were overcooked also. The shrimp dish was overcooked and hard and flavorless. Really disappointed.

The service was OK, but it was so HOT in there, I noticed their thermostat was set at 83. I mentioned to the only man in there its pretty hot in here. He said there was nothing he could do. Gee, How about lowering the thermostat? It was hard to feel that comfortable to have a meal while I was sweating. The atmosphere felt like I just barged into his home and he didn't want to pay the pg&e bill. The place on a Saturday had hardly any customers. When its 100 degrees outside, and your looking forward to a cool restaurant, this isn't the place I would recommend.

We had a great experience at The Snooty Frog! Very cozy restaurant with a nice family atmosphere, great service and quality food. Good idea for a date night! Highly recommend eating here and then walking next door to check out a play at the local theater! We'll be back, for sure!

We enjoyed another fantastic meal with friends. One of the specials for the evening was a ribeye pork chop. It was delicious as was the chicken and shrimp dishes we ordered. The white French onion soup is the best around!!! Looking forward to our next visit.
Will not be coming back again. Came in with my husband for dinner. We were seated immediately but should've known better when there was only one other table that had people at it to turn around. The menu is small and isn't what it is online. The service is horrible, food is very bland and way over priced. The only positive thing I can say is that the place is clean.

Went here for a dinner party. The food was amazing, cute little restaurant with a great menu. The french onion soup and salad were amazing and the smothered chicken. was the best I have ever had. Will be coming back from Folsom often.

I am not sure how previous reviews can be so negative about such a great restaurant. We had a great meal tonight, nice casual but elegant atmosphere with wonderful service. John runs the bar and table service while Michelle runs the kitchen. Fantastic food and great service. We will be back there soon. The sizzling steak with mushrooms is awesome along with fillet mignon topped with Pate/cheese - fantastic. Well worth the price.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here! I got the sizzling filet and he got filet Rossini, and both of the dishes had excellent sauces!His had a pate on it that was really delightful and mine had a soy/wine reduction that was unique and perfect. The meat was very tender as well.The owners are really nice too!
