We had a very nice evening in Slate Mountain Saloon. The choice of food was fine with pizza and other deep oil fried dishes. We had fried chicken with chips. Local people were very chatty and we met some interesting characters
$14 for some rattlesnake bites and a natty light. Can’t complain too much about that pricing, location was nice and the lodge across the street has some interesting lore surrounding it.

We came 8 people, the place had 4 other customers at the time.
We were never able to eat here, because the lady working there alone wasn't very nice when addressed.
It seems she was the only one there, both as the waitress and cook so maybe she couldn't handle the load.
But she also didn't acknowledge our existance or tried to explain or say anything about her situation, just totally ignored us.
So after 10 minutes of waiting...
