They make really good poke bowls. I eat here practically every day. All of their hot and cold meats are fresh and tasty and the servers are really nice.
These people suck including their customer service.
Great spot for a quick, tasty lunch!
Hibachi San has some of the best-priced poke bowls around—super fresh and super satisfying. It’s the perfect stop if you’re craving something light but filling. I love grabbing a bowl and heading to the beach for a chill lunch with a view. The portions are generous, the flavors are on point, and the service is always friendly. Definitely one of my go-to spots! My only complaint is the portion is a bit small and they don't offer poke by the pound like in hawaii.
This is the best restaurant inside the Camp Pendleton military base ever.
Between Panda and hibachi, I choose panda
I love this place! I’m addicted to the pickled cucumbers, it makes me want to eat a poke bowl everyday!

Great food at a great price. This place was located on Camp Pendleton US Marine Corps base California
Parking: Portions were huge for the $12 lunch price... and it's California 😉

This place is very stingy with their portions. I came here before and got a small bowl and got the shrimp as one of my proteins, I was served only 3 pieces and the employee said that is their policy.. meanwhile the manager is serving her chid free food with huge portions. I came here again and got a small bowl and asked for my 2 proteins to be ahi tuna, and they tried to charge me for an extra protein when I never asked for extra protein. Also the salmon portion has decreased dramatically, they serve bite size portions of salmon. I can recall not even a year ago the salmon was a decent portion. They shrunk the portions of proteins but the price remains the same.

I have been going to Hibachi San probably once a month since 2020. Today was the last day. They have changed their portion options (the actual bowls and servings) over the years which I was fine with. The employee behind the counter serves the toppings you choose. I picked a Regular bowl which consists of 3 chosen protein options. I picked only 3 protein toppings and the normal quantity of other toppings that is part of the Regular bowl order. I used to ask for an extra protein topping (which is an up charge) on other days that I ordered. The employee rang up my bowl and I paid. It was bagged up for to go. I was filling up my drink after I paid when suddenly the manager comes up to me and says that I needed to go back to the register to pay for my extra protein. She never saw my bowl, never was behind the counter to see what I choose for the bowl. She looked at my order on her kiosk only and made the assumption from past orders I have made that I wasn’t charged for an extra protein. I explained to her that I did not get the extra topping and she tried to explain that she thought I ordered a small bowl (which I didn’t, and paid the regular bowl price, which was displayed on the kiosk) that she thought the new employee made a mistake. I have never been stopped walking out the door with food hand served by a business behind the counter and told that I need to pay more for an assumed amount of food I received. Way to nickle and dime customers. Make sure you keep your receipts if you go here.
