The service at this Subway is always poor. Just received a sub from there that was basically all bread. A footlong spicy Italian with like 3 pieces of pepperoni. Workers never know what they’re doing.
Terrible management. System is down and refuses to take card most of the time im in there.
Gone here three times, all using mobile orders. And every time we get there and it says our order is ready so we go in but then have to wait in a long line only for us to tell them our order and wait for them to make it, kid you not been waiting 50 minutes. It’s always low on bread and ingredients. It’s only ever one guy working, it’s so understaffed. Do not waste your time or money at this location.
Honestly all the subways on base anymore suck. The last 4 times I've tried to place orders, they were out of things or just messed up the order. The only positive part of it was the employee refunded us our order and said they would speak to the manager.
This place is so understaffed. We placed a mobile order, got there when it said it would be ready & there isn’t a designated pick up counter - my husband had to wait in a terribly long line because there was one lady working, just to get our pick up order - which he had to wait for her to make (so the app is flawed, or she lied about it being ready because I got an email saying it was ready!) We live a mile down the road and it took him over an hour to go pick up sandwiches and come back. I know it’s not her fault for being the only worker, but base needs to get on top of people actually getting hired.
This poor subway is understaffed during lunch times and these poor workers need more help. Terry is a delight as always and despite being swamped with everything she is always positive, a smile on her face and apologetic for any amount of wait time. Highly suggest a minimum of 3/4 workers for a shift that are up front. These poor girls in here shouldn't have to be scrambling to do everything.
I placed a mobile order..My sandwich was missing mayo, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. :,( It also did not have the extra cheese I paid for. They were out of chocolate chip cookies, and only had oatmeal raisin as a replacement. I also heard them tell another customer they were closed at 6:30? I wouldn’t have placed my order 15 minutes before they were due to close if their hours had been properly updated on the app or google :(
Edit to add that my husband’s sandwich also had none of the condiments we ordered for his sandwich.
The lady didn’t change her gloves in between multiple customers. And was touching the screen with said gloves. She was the only employee bc the teenage kid there walked out bc her shift ended that second. Kiddo there’s a line out the door.
I asked the lady to change her gloves which she did then proceeded to start making bread and touching unnecessary stuff before making my sandwich. Also the line is out the door and building.
Just found out she over charged me bc she didn’t even know what my sandwich was called. So she charged me for the most expensive sandwich.
Really livid as it took over 30 minutes to even get to the front of the line.
Don't waste your time. This place was a total joke!!

I don’t believe there has been a time in my past 5 visits to this Subway that they’ve had any bread other than white bread. On top of that the past 2 times (almost a month apart) they’ve only had turkey, ham, roast beef, Salami, and Pepperoni. I ordered the only sandwich on the menu that used those meats, and the worker had to leave to the back and get somebody else because they didn’t know how to make the sandwich. To top it all off, the workers go back and forth from the computer to ring somebody up to the next customer without changing gloves, and when asked to change gloves they have an attitude. The only reason this subway is still in business is because it’s the only restaurant in 21 Area on Camp Pendleton.

This is just as bad as before they built the new building. Very slow service, good quality is low, rotting, frozen, bread is always old and hard. I only go here when I am pressed for time, and today they had no cash in the drawer. MCCS really needs to step in.

The only drinks that they have is coke and fanta. They don’t have ice for the drinks never ever. They take forever to make my food. When you ask them about the drinks machine they lie to you and say that it works. The employee have really bad attitude no respect at all for your time. They always run out of products to make the sub.
Always has good sandwiches
