I feel my hand pour taste medium to dark roasted beans so the flavor tends to be thick with a hint of bitterness, but it pairs perfectly with milk. I waited for quite a while as the staff forgot one of our order.

Was recommended this spot by a friend and I have to say I love this coffee shop! It's a great place to study or read, they play music but the playlist matches the environment and it's not too loud in there. I'm obsessed with their Iced Cubano, it's strong but delicious if you're into that. I've also tried their Mexican Mocha and that was pretty good too. Every time I've gone in, the staff has always been super friendly! Seating can be a little difficult to find during busy hours, but once the rush dies down there are usually open tables. Parking is not hard to find, there is plenty of parking behind the shop. Check it out if you're ever by Campbell!

Coffee was excellent. Breakfast sandwich average. The staff was all very beaten down appearing and acting. Polite enough but Maybe they need a raise? I did and do tip … they just seemed pretty strung out. Also not a coffee shop to linger at- small, narrow and busy.

VERY disappointed after having just visited their Solana Beach location which was actually my first discovery and an EXCELLENT experience. Comparing the Solana Beach experience to Campbell, with my rating of the Solana Beach location being 20/10, here is my take on the Campbell location: CUSTOMER SERVICE: We arrived at around 12noon on a Saturday. There were plenty of staff (overstaffed if you ask me), NONE of the staff including the Barista looked HAPPY, it was like they were just doing their jobs (ROBOTS) - NO smiles, NO personality, NO welcome when you walk in the door or when they delivered your food/drink, NO positive vibes whatsoever! I did NOT feel welcomed at all unlike at the Solana Beach location. One thing I will NOT do is patronize a store who doesn't make me feel welcomed the minute I walk in the door and continue to make me feel "at home" during my stay! I don't care how busy you are, EVERY customer each of the staff comes across should feel like this place is REALLY happy to have me here. If I don't get that feeling the minute I walk in, there's a good chance I may not return. FOOD: the Solana Beach location was generous with their sandwich toppings, tasted SO much better and the Cubano drink was absolutely delicious. I ordered the same sandwich/Cubano drink at the Campbell location and it was just NOT as great. My sister got the Lox/cream cheese toast and they totally skimped on the cream cheese and salmon lox. For $11.95, it was NOT worth the price! Also, it was only 12noon and they had already ran out of avocado! SORRY, but with plenty of staff and Whole Foods across the street and Trader Joe's close by, have one of your staff go and get some avocados cuz you still have plenty hours left in the day to feed your customers! I even gave a $2 tip when I placed my order but on account of the lacking customer service, I wish I hadn't. AMBIENCE: VERY lacking in comparison to the Solana Beach location. Solana Beach had very nice seating inside, quieter music/a RELAXED vibe, plenty of seating outside and a VERY nice courtyard seating that was welcoming/warm. Campbell location - COLD inside with the AC on, loud music blaring (couldn't really hear what was playing), NOT a warm cozy vibe at all. I came to RELAX, did not feel relaxed walking out. Interestingly, this location is supposed to be the original location. Well, unfortunately for you, you lost one solid coffee drinker's business. SO disapppinted! I was SO excited to try this location since it was SO close to home. I live in Sunnyvale and would be willing to come here for a nice cup of coffee/meal, but sadly, I will NOT be returning, NOT worth the drive. I will return to the Solana Beach location for sure, that place rocked!

Coffee - 4/10 iced chai was mediocre Food - took 20 mins to come out Service - 3/10 . Girl with the short curly hair + glasses spoke with a very annoyed attitude & when I asked about our sandwiches she could've said sorry about to wait ... no . "Just a min" 20 mins for 2 exact same sandwiches is just poor service or management needs to staff more cause there's was only 3 of them for a Saturday morning

Came in the afternoon on a Saturday and no pastries left, limited seating with no open tables. Seems like a lot of people go there to solo study. (Miss those days). I got the Voodoo ice and it was delicious! Just enough flavor, but not too sweet. I will try to come earlier next time to try their pastries!

Personally didn't like the coffee here- too sweet. Got the orange drink which tasted really odd and a mocha.

I've always thought this was a cute place to stop and enjoy a good cup of coffee, but today I learned that you cannot get any type of cream product in your coffee at Barefoot (literally not even a splash of half and half) without paying $1 extra. I've never heard of anything like this before. Zero free creamer whatsoever. Paying $6 for an Americano and then having to pay $1 for a splash of half and half. Shameful business decision. Insulting.

I liked the coffee... we ordered a medium roast pour over and it was phenomenal. I also liked the cappuccino. And the chocolates for the children were good. We didn't ask for more things because the day we visited they had a power outage and it wasn't a very welcoming environment to spend with the children. You can also buy your coffee beans and they all have very useful information so you know what you are buying. I brought a package and it was an excellent purchase. Delicious coffee!

Overall I always get great coffee here, but the employees seem to either be burnt out or not very upbeat. I understand that everyone has an off day, but I can't say they're too friendly and inviting. Regardless, I enjoy coming here and picking up a bag of beans or just a cup.
