Kristina and Bob were extremely patient with me and worked with me to get the exact menu that fit our budget. Very professional in the office. The event was a success with big credit going to The BBQ Boys. The trucks rolled in and started cooking exactly when they said they would. This was clearly not their first large event. The entire staff was fun to work with and extremely professional, checking in with me and making recommendations according to the amount of people arriving at the party at various times. And the food was delicious. I have received many compliments from coworkers about the food at the party. Get the tri tip!!!

We found the BBQ Boys Catering on yelp and what a great find. We hired them for a private anniversary party. They were really easy to work with from the contract phase to onsite. Everything was really organized and they were very professional. They answered all of my mom's questions about their service and were very patient. The day of the party they arrived on time and were very nice. The food was amazing and everyone raved about how good it was. We had the ribs and chicken. The chicken was so moist and the ribs were excellent. We had a guest who needed to leave early before we were officially serving and they made her a plate before she left without her even having to ask for it. They were so thoughtful. My mom, who the party was for, has a special dietary restriction which makes BBQ a challenge for her to eat at times. They did a great job accommodating her needs so she could enjoy the food without any issues. They cleaned everything up so well afterwards that you would not have even known they were there cooking onsite. The next day the office called to see how the party went. Great follow up from them as well.

Company picnic BBQ catered by them. Was okay. Wasn't all that great. Meat was kinda burnt. Italian sausages were probably the best but you can't go wrong with sausage anyways. Cornbread tasted like chlorine. Corn was greasy and undercooked.

Just had the BBQ Boys cater an event for 150 people at Blackberry Farm Cupertino. We had the Tri-tip and the BBQ chicken and both were amazing. I was at two different events lately with a BBQ theme and there was no comparison to these guys. They were easy to work with as well.

I mean it, just stop looking, you've found the right business. We had them cater our outdoor wedding picnic. We chose the Santa Maria Tri-tip and the chicken breasts - both were so delicious. The sides were great too. And the vegetarian options were perfect. We were so pleased with the number of compliments we received on the food. I mean EVERYONE loved the food, which made us look great. We were also pleased at how easy it was to work with them. Left us a large bunch of leftovers then they donated the rest to a shelter. They knew exactly what to do and did it fabulously! These folks do a great job. I just was married this past weekend, and as I come from a big family, it was a big wedding - 200 people. The BBQ Boys (who had also done my sister's wedding five years ago) were great from the beginning. Nadeane, their office manager, is prompt and totally on top of responses and questions. The food was cooked on site, was ready exactly on time, it was delicious, there was plenty of it, they were able to move people through the line efficiently, and their presentation was lovely. They have an expanded menu with both high end and basic bbq options. Plus I found their pricing to be very reasonable. And they can accommodate gluten free and vegetarian guests. This is a good, hard working outfit; and I was really pleased to be working with them. Thank you BBQ Boys!!

We had a surprise wedding this past Sunday at beautiful Picchetti Winery and The BBQ Boys came through with an amazing spread of food. It's been nearly a week and people (including me and my husband) are still raving about the tri-tip. Don't get me wrong, all the sides were DELICIOUS, but the tri-tip is an absolute must. Let's just say when we set out the small amount of left overs for people to take home, the tri-tip disappeared within seconds! I also LOVE the fact that the BBQ boys bring the fire pit to your venue and cook everything on site. The aromas and atmosphere you get with the meal being prepped right in front of your guests cannot be beat. Robert and his team are extremely professional, reasonably priced, and deliver on every promise. They've been around for decades and have this game down! I cannot recommend their services enough and hope you have the pleasure of experiencing their assistance at your future gathering.

I really enjoyed working with The BBQ Boys! Not only was the food AMAZING, the staff was friendly and everything from communication to food service went smoothly and professionally. The BBQ Boys team arrived at the promised time and served food at our specified time. At the end they packed all the leftovers away for us and left the area as clean as they had found it. We ordered the tri-tip and chicken and I have to say, I have never had a more flavorful, tender barbecue experience- my guests are still raving about the food! I would definitely hire them again!
I had a pretty good experience with them & would use them again except for some of the communication issues. They told me I could edit my side orders up until 10 days before the day of my wedding. I had ordered the dry creek potatoes instead of potato salad which is extra. I realized on the invoices I had mentioned i might be interested to changing to Orzo salad or another side after I though about it, another one of the same upgrade price. He changed 1/2 invoices discrepancy and it was just an inquiry to Orzo. So 10 days out Im confirming everything and they really I never signed one of the contracts although I had secured my day and deposit. The polite lady told me they had been without a coordinator for awhile, which I had spoken directly with a manager to book. So she basically told me I had no option to choose it was Orzo at that point it was whatever I have bigger concerns!. But the day before the ceremony they called to say they would start their 1.5 hour service at 3:30. I was confused and left a message to please not to I had requested to start serving between 4:15--4:30 ending around 5:30 no earlier as we were having our ceremony and pictures from 3:15-4. By the time I got back a few after 4 they were already serving, I didn't even get a chance to see the table as a bride and they also had a different size table (supposed to be double sided 8' from my email correspondence) so I had rented the wrong size table cloth and sewn the runners myself. By the time I sat and greeted various people shortly they were shutting down service ironically I think I got about 2 bites of orzo salad a little after 5, I know weddings go fast and being the bride is busy but if they had waited till my initial 4:30 request and confirmed I may have been able to get some food. I think overall their service was good and I was told by many it was the best, funnest wedding ever (it was on a ranch with live peruvian music and lawn games for the kids and a self serve beer and wine bar, much like an upscale BBQ) I supplied my own disposable plates and cutlery to take it up a notch which really made a difference on making a BBQ elegant under a giant oak. So the food was likely good and service on point just various miscommunications.

For the second year in a row we had the BBQ Boys cater our company picnic. Food is superior to anything we have ever had before. Absolutely delicious and tender Tri-Tip, and don't even let me get started on that addicting peanut coleslaw! Yum! Everyone at the picnic commented on how great the food was. The servers are polite and professional. We will definitely be using them again next year!

Love these guys...even better than we hoped for! Such a great addition to our Fourth of July party. The food was amazing and the Staff were attentive and friendly. We had tri tip and BBQ chicken. Trip tip has to be done right or it's pretty awful...but theirs was tender, juicy and flavorful. Our guests loved that all of the sides were vegetarian...especially liked were the grilled vegetables and the ranch beans! They arrived on time and served on time (and were even flexible enough to let the band finish their set). Would definitely, positively use them again!!!
