Our first time at BE.STEAK.A. We live locally and have seen the place on many occasions. Decided to try them out for our anniversary dinner. They did not disappoint. The service was very good. The food was very good. Yes, all fancy steak restaurants seem a bit over priced, but for a special occasion it was worth it. And, I'll mention again, the service was really nice and friendly. We chose to site outside which was great this time of year. Although situated alongside Campbell Ave, the traffic noise was really not that bad. Food selection was very good. And, did I mention the great service?
At BE.STEAK.A they not only have outstanding food, they also provide a wonderful experience through the variety of details at the restaurant.
Another fantastic experience at Be.Steak.A From the moment we arrived, being greeted with the warm broth to having the crudités before our meal, these small details makes a difference. Our server Bob recommended a great wine to go with our ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the asparagus with Szechuan pepper that adds a flavorful kick! We loved every aspect of this restaurant and it's our go-to whenever we're in the Bay Area!
We dined at Be.Steak last night and can't say enough about the experience and wonderful food. Our server, Dean was outstanding and added to the A+ experience. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, with our first visit to this fantastic restaurant. Both had the filet Mignon, which was fantastically prepared, the asparagus was the best I have ever had - with a wonderful sauce and chili flakes, mash potatoes were incredibly decadent. Welcoming atmosphere, exquisite food - every touch point top notch. Ask for Dean if you want a truly great experience.
3rd time there. Surprisingly not good. Had bone marrow—undercooked for my taste. Wedge—lettuce was pink on outer spine layer. This was acceptable as it was just the outer layer. It was very good otherwise. Ribeye—asked for medium—came out medium on one side—when they flipped it, it was barely cooked. So it ended up being rare. Maybe i should've sent it back—seasoning was good, only the temperature and uneven cook. Fried rice was good, but surprisingly oily. I'm not sure I'll return, given the 490 bill for 2. Sorry, i shouldn't have to send it back to bring up temp on a steak—it should come out as requested.
Bob is the best Waiter I have had in a long time.
Bob was an incredible host for our anniversary dinner! Every recommendation was spot on, service was impeccable, and well worth it!
I think I found my favorite new restaurant. Very similar in style to its sister restaurant, Orchard City Kitchen, but an upscale steakhouse.
The entire party was greeted with broth cups while we sat, and it was hard to limit our choices on an amazing menu. Nearly everything was available family style.
Highlights for me were the Kerwee Ribeye with truffle port reduction and the Lobster Risotto. The food here is very rich, but the staff is welcoming and doesn't rush or cut corners.
On the way out, there's even a candy selection to finish off the evening, and take home treats.
Also, today I learned that Be.Steak.Ā is a play on the Italian word for steak, bistecca.
Very attentive staff, lovely chicken bone broth, delicious steak and pasta, cute birthday card and dessert. Everything was perfect.
Went here for Father's Day brunch. The food and selection were incredible. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

This was a wonderful place to celebrate my dad's 89th birthday. The staff were warm and welcoming, the dishes delicious and the ambiance inviting. The focaccia is not to be missed, along with their steaks.
It was a birthday dinner with my son and daughter in law. We all ordered the Caesar salad and filet mignon with several side dishes. We all had cocktails and a bottle of Jordan cab. The service was very good and attentive. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was well prepared and very tasty. I found the wine choices were extensive however, they were pricey. We were positive about the overall meal and would return for a special occasion.
Had an excellent dinner. Our server was a Som and paired wine for each of our courses. She gave us two wine options which was a surprise. Truly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

The steak.... Every single bite was mouthwatering, with outstanding flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional. The anniversary card and a complimentary anniversary dessert were heartwarmingly thoughtful and lovely.
