Too expensive . For $135 .. they should cut the meat a little more thicker and give more Au Jus ( it was given in drops 2-3). The dessert portions were to small. The Mignomette sauce was all shallots. I was expecting more since youtube videos all praises the food . Pls find a new receipe for the ribs its dry, chimichuri sauce lacks something,the meat balls it too salty and needs a better sauce and the prime rib that was cut paper thin was not seasoned well it was bland or probably i could not taste because it was cut too thin
Service was fantastic and the staff was amazing. However the steaks and the duck breast lacked seasoning. They were completely bland with little or no seasoning and sauce. Basic salt and pepper seasoning would go a long way. Disappointed with the cooking overall. However the fried rice was delicious and extremely tantalizing

Quite simply, the best steakhouse in the South Bay if not Bay Area. This is Steak Elevated, not another retread of the same steakhouse tropes. Come on, Michelin, this beats every Michelin rated steakhouse everywhere. Where's that star? Erika was fantastic as was the entire team. They handled the vintage wines from our cellar with great professionalism. Look forward to the next visit.
We enjoyed our Sunday Brunch Buffet at BE.STEAK.A on 11/23/2025. Our reservation was for 11:15am. HIGHLIGHTS WERE: Clear labels for all the food Included and delicious Pineapple Lime Water drink Meat selections, especially the Beef Wellington, Salmon and Prime Rib. Nice caviar selections Perfect small portions Large selection of seafood Strawberry Macrons Restroom accommodations were excellent especially individual stalls for the men. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Service (Carlos) was mediocre - had to ask for new utensils, water was never refilled although other tables had their water glasses refilled. Several food trays were empty for quite a while - especially desserts, sour cream for the caviar was totally empty, small blini for the crepes were non-existent for a long time. Croissants tasted ok but were definitely not fresh. Cinnamon rolls (near the prime rib) was very dry/stale. There were two times when the table of new plates was totally empty. We were seated in a back room with a large table of at least 10 people. Noise was unpleasant. Will ask for a quieter location of we return.
Delicious meal with lots of sides and wonderful wait staff. Not cheap but a tremendous experience all around
Great place to celebrate a special day. Especially loved the chicken broth soup, ribeye steak and the bread service. Very nice touch for the restaurant to provide a huge sparking candle for birthday celebration.
The food experience for me was a hit or miss. The fresh oysters were as fresh as could be except I wish there were more condiments available (didn't see hot sauce or horse radish, unless I didn't see them). The caviar selection was good although I wasn't particularly wowed. Deviled eggs and caeasar salad were good. Moving on to the hot foods, the roast beef and beef wellington were perfectly cooked. The sauces could use a bit more flavor boost (acidity and salt). The pork ribs according to my husband was very tasty. The mushroom risotto was bland. Bacon was good but it was swimming in oil. Egg muffin was very dry. Waffles had a nice crunch and can't go wrong with nutella and bananana-strawberry toppings. The baked pastries were perfect in size and delightful. The dessert options were just okay. Lemon olive oil cake and cheesecake were the best ones. Service and ambiance were excellent. I wish they would at least include some strong drip coffee as part of the buffet.
everything about our experience at BE.STEAK.A was excellent. Food, service, ambiance, just a fabulous experience. the guidance from our server was perfect. Great place to celebrate a big milestone or just to go have a great time!

Great food and great service. It was a little noisy given 50% capacity used but mostly due to loudmouth customers.
Even entering the restaurant was a pleasant experience. All of the food and drinks were extraordinary! Out Wagyu rib eye was perfectly seasoned and grilled with an excellent char and a medium rare interior. While the prices may seem high, the wait person expertly guided us to just the right amount of food for everyone. Without that guidance, our bill could easily have been double, and it would have meant taking home a lot of food.
Sorry I forgot my waiter name but he is excellent! Good recommendation and service. The steak is cook perfectly and the portion is big !!!
Exquisitely prepared food, with flavor to match. My daughter and I are small plate enthusiasts, so we had a large selection of starters, appetizers, and a side. We judge the quality of a good steakhouse in their beef tartare, and this restaurant met our very high standards. Perfectly chopped (not minced) and flavored perfectly with no one flavor overpowering others. The hamachi crudo had bright, fresh flavors, and was almost too pretty to eat. These are but a few of the standouts. The bone broth on entering the restaurant, the amazing cocktails, the Cobb elevated with Shropshire cheese, and rock shrimp side were all worthy of mention. But what elevates it is the amazing service and extraordinary care in the design of the dishes, not only from plating, but the unique use of special dishes for the selections. Our server was attentive, answered our questions, but wasn't in our face. A relaxed three hour meal. Highly recommend.
