I have been getting pizza here for over thirty years, That's the better part of my life and I have always been a fan of the sesame crest.And quality ingredients they use. I remember coming here in high school with fellow football players and splitting a party pizza between 4 or 5 of us and not being able to finish it.

I'm one of those guys you see and wonder, is he homeless, or does he just not care about his appearance. Trust me: it's the latter. And but so, how was this scruffy-looking Gen-X relic treated at City Pizza? Like a prince.

The pizza itself was fantastic. A truly original sauce (heavy on tomato paste, which I adore), an equally unique crust, perfectly elastic cheese, and pepperoni slices crisp along their edges --but not overcooked. Subtle, unexpected...

10 years since I've first tried the pizza here with its sesame crust generous amount of toppings and consistency and I have yet been able to find a competitor even CLOSE. Do yourself a favor and stop by to grab some of the best pizza in the bay area.
