Continental Caterers

We really enjoyed working with Continental for our wedding at Nestldown (Los Gatos, CA)! Brittney and team organized a wonderful tasting experience for us and our parents to select the wedding menu items. They were highly receptive to feedback after the tasting -- everything from changing garnishes to incorporating our own tomato soup recipe for the soup sippers. They also worked with us to source our favorite Josey Baker bread from The Mill in SF. The food at the wedding was AMAZING! We served it family-style so that everyone could choose from a variety of items. Our most favorite dish was the veggie galette, which we loved so much that we made it available to all guests, not just vegetarians. Many of our guests complimented the menu saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!!! Thank you Continental team!

Continental Caterers provided brunch after our morning wedding minimony, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Our venue required us to choose from their short curated list of caterers, and I reached out to three of them. Continental Caterers was the only one to respond promptly and consistently, ask what types of foods we were envisioning, and then send a proposal that actually matched what we stated we wanted. Just from a communication standpoint alone, I knew that they were the ones we wanted to hire. Brittney was our contact, and from beginning to end, she was an absolute dream to work with. She was always so pleasant and professional, and she helped us narrow our menu down to a reasonable amount of food (we wanted to serve way too much lol).

The morning of our wedding, we were incredibly pleased at how delicious everything was! We served breakfast burritos, several passed appetizers, pastries, donuts, and fruit, and had a hot chocolate bar as well as tea and coffee. We got so many unsolicited compliments on the food! Continental Caterers also provided the linens and signage for our food and beverages, which made our lives so much easier.

We used Continental Caterers for our wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos. The food was amazing and all the guests agreed. We did the short rib and California sea bass. Brittney and Pauline were great with communication and helping in every way they could.

Continental really knocked it out of the park. I’m vegan and they were the only caterers on our venue’s “preferred” list that gave us an option that was actually interesting for vegans. It was a creamy lemon pasta that was one of the most popular entrees there! We received a lot of compliments on all of the food – with a lot of people starting it off as “Wedding food usually isn’t great, but wow this is awesome!” The team at Continental was really helpful in the planning process as well, helping us pick out linens and our menu. Definitely recommend! (They have excellent non-vegan food too!)

Just had our wedding at nestldown. I am so happy all my guest complimented continentsl for an excellent food when it comes to taste. Was so surprised all of my hundred guest were so happy and satisfied and non stop saying that the food was delicious from bread, vegetarian dish, grilled peach salad and the main course, as well as the caterers staff did a very good job- very professional..Of course. Just hosted our first catered event in our home and had a highly successful and enjoyable night. Erika’s guidance was invaluable. We were extremely fortunate the team was able to accommodate us on short notice. Our chef and captain were utmost professionals while also super friendly and flexible. They helped me get all the little details just right. Looking forward to our next event.

I attended a wedding in Villa Montalvo and the food was amazing. This was my favorite appetizer, fresh sashimi sushi garnished with an orange slice and green on top of a crispy tortilla. So fresh and Yum!

They catered my friend's 50th birthday party. The food was outstanding, the food was displayed creatively and the flavors were amazing!! totally recommend it.

Excellent catering! Hands down the best in the Bay Area!

Continental Caterers were a dream catering company for our wedding in October 2021. We were blown away at our tasting with them and they did not disappoint on the wedding day! We received a lot of compliments from our guests about the quality of the food. This was impressive also to me because we were eating outside in 53 degree weather and the food was still quite hot when we were eating. The company as a whole is super professional, all of their wait staff was so kind and attentive. They were able to quickly and subtly deconstruct and reset tables that had gotten wet in the rain. I also want to compliment Brittany who is their coordinator. She is such a lovely human to work with – so thorough, professional, and kind. She really knows the company well and is very experienced. Overall, we had an awesome experience with them and would recommend them to anyone needing a caterer!

Great people and food

This is the best caterer around. The food is delicious, there's always plenty, it's beautifully presented and the staff is wonderful to work with. Paul is an exceptional chef, easy going and very fun to be with. Gunilla Follett--I use him for all I can and have recommended him to many people.
