High quality pizza, pasta, salads, and sides. This time I ordered a tagliatelle with mushroom sauce special. It was earthy and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the fried artichokes and gnocchi. On past visits, I've been equally happy with the pizza. There's also a nice selection of wines by the glass and mixed drinks.

It is really sad that Doppio Zero franchise has stooped this low. Not sure whether the degradation of quality is due to rapid expansion or poor training of the various branches.

Let me be super clear. Just because you wood fire Neapolitan-style pizza, it does not mean that whatever you do, you are forgiven.

Every single pizza was "watery". I do not know where this water is coming from, whether it is the tomato sauce or what white pizza cream base was used. Yes, you can mix up fancy ingredients and introduce the pallet to various concoctions (of which some are a bit too complex for my taste), but this will only last you so long.

Also, the service was weird. We were a large party of 16 across two tables. But somehow, each and every time, orders from one table would go to the other. Why not just simply follow table numbers?

I can clearly tell you that Doppio Campbell is tainting the image of the overall franchise. The owner should definitely take action swiftly.

Delicious!!!! The food was amazing and the place is really cute! I had trouble getting a reservation at the right time through open table…. It kept telling me there were no available options for my party of 4 at 6pm on a Tuesday night. Finally got one for 5:30pm and there was literally no one there when we got there and it stayed relatively open for the 2.5 hours we were there. I don’t know how open table couldn’t find me a reservation at 6.

Reserved a table for my husband's birthday - so glad I did since there was a really long wait!

We had great service - all the food was amazing. My husband had the pork chop (special) and the fried artichoke. He said the artichoke was definitely great. I had the ravioli which was so amazing. I couldn't finish it as it was so rich but still delicious! One kid had the carne pizza which he loved but very large size. My daughter loves salmon and tried the Bottarga. The waiter did warn us regarding the extra fishy taste (fish oil) and we though she'd be ok because she really loves salmon. But yea, really fishy.

Server was attentive but also very busy. The restaurant was very full! At the end of the night a complementary birthday dessert was sent. The panna cotta was very nice - but of course we were all so full after dinner.

Pizza is so good! The squid ink pasta is great too! We’ll be coming back! :)

I love the staff & vibe of DZ, but find inside to be very loud. I had the nectarine salad with shrimp. It was delicious. I was disappointed to see truffle used on so many menu items. Truffle oil has a strong smell & can be cloying if others order any of these items at the same table or near by.

Have been here twice now. Decor is modern and updated. Patio and inside seating are available which is nice. There are only a few patio tables available and they are all two-tops so pretty small. The inside seating opens up fully to the patio creating a sort of faux patio feel which is a nice touch with natural lighting and exposure to foot traffic. There are a few four-tops available in this section. Inside there is a nice bar with seating for about 12. They also have booths and tables for larger parties. We sat inside both times and it was fine.

Unfortunately the updated decor did not match the menu or our service experience on either of our two visits.

First time was on July 16 for a friend's birthday party. We were a party of 6 and arrived on time and were seated immediately at the booth nearest the pizza oven.

We ordered a few small plates for the group and 3 pizzas to share. I can't remember what we ordered specifically. The food seemed ok but nothing overly amazing to shout about.

Anyway the memorable takeaway from this visit was the service.

Starting with the bottle service. We ordered a bottle of champagne and two bottles of wine throughout the evening. The server clearly was not experienced enough to lead this. He started with pouring the champagne too fast so he filled every glass to the rim with bubbles. He would then proceed to fill all six of our glasses this way and then came back to the beginning and started pouring again. Unfortunately he did not anticipate running out so quickly so he filled 4 of our glasses full and left 2 others with minimal pours including the birthday girl. It was embarrassing.

For the wine, we asked for recommendations but he did not know or understand what we were asking. Maybe a language barrier but it was just unclear. After multiple attempts he brought over someone from the back of the house who appeared to be in charge which was helpful. The wine glass pours were fine, no issues.

On the second bottle of wine, we ordered a 2020 Caymus Cabernet which we were excited to find. After 10 minutes, the in charge person came out again and explained that they had just finished their last bottle of 2020 and only had the 2021. We were mildly disappointed but in the end decided to stick with the 2021 Caymus which ended up being very nice. The odd thing is we were not offered a discount on the 2021 bottle even though it was a year younger. On a $160 bottle, I thought this was an appropriate expectation.

We also had trouble with our food service experience. When bringing out the pizza plates (our 2nd service), the bussers crowded the table with the new plates before clearing the used appetizer plates. While doing this, they started creating space by pushing the new plates into the old old plates forcing them into each other and eventually creating a mess when one of the plates was pushed into our guest of honor's wine glass and spilled her wine across the table which eventually dripped off the table onto the guest of honor's purse and gifts that were sitting on the bench seat. Wine also dripped through a crack between two tables pressed together and got all over my shoes and another guest's shoes. All of this happened before the server even realized that she had caused the spill so it took forever to clean up and the damage was done. The guest of Honor was not offered a replacement glass of wine and to my knowledge the person in charge was not aware of what happened. It didn't appear that we were comp'd for this.

After dinner, the staff brought out a festive slice of cheesecake with a candle and a song for the birthday girl. It was very sweet and we felt honored for the moment.

Our final experience was the check which was brought to us excluding the Caymus wine which we were pleased about and thought was fair given how the evening went. However after we provided our cred

We have been here 2 times. The food was decent both times but they always are out of the fig pizza which I really want to try. I probably would have given more stars if they still had the live music down the street. We asked why they didn’t have live music any more and the server told us that the manager told them to stop. It added a nice ambiance to the outdoor dining. Bring back the live music and the fig and prosciutto pizza!

Drinks were exceptionally good, and the environment was great with the staff being reserved and pleasant. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Seating:
I made a reservation months in advance and arrived only to be told that we couldn't sit in a specific area of the restaurant because it was "reserved," my husband and I were sat in a super tight area, with barely any room to move in and out. So tight, that our waitress brought champagne over and it took over the entire space between us and the table next to us (see pic) . The entire dining time the area that was "reserved" remained empty.

Food:
Our appetizer, the meatballs came super fast but was cold and soggy.
The wild boar pasta was warm and had an okay flavor, definitely not amazing tasted like pasta with meat.
We asked for cheese for with our pasta and we're brought room temperature cheese in a shaker container. It was a weird transition from a fancier restaurant to fast food-like place.

Service:
We had no plates or utensils set for us or brought for our meal and had to ask twice.

Overall, it was very apparent that the restaurant cares more about moving as many people in and out as possible and less about the quality of the food and service.

The pizza at this place is amazing, it’s like eating a pizza in Naples! The drinks and appetizers are quite good, as well as the service and the location in Campbell. We went with our dogs, and it was very comfortable to eat on the patio that opens onto the main street.
I recommend the mortadella and pistachio pizza with a good Aperol spritz or IPA beer.
