I took my friend for lunch to celebrate her birthday. I had been here once before with my husband and another couple and we had really enjoyed our meal. This time we ordered a specialty pizza and salad to share. The pear salad lacked character and was basically arugula. The pizza was a disappointment — difficult to eat since the crust was very doughy so it was impossible to pick up and hard to cut with a knife. Our table service was just ok, nothing special. The surprise birthday...
We stared with the fried artichoke and croquettes.. yum! Delicious lasagna, pearl pasta with seafood and pizza. Service was very nice with the exception of our waitress standing behind our table as we sorted out the bill (there was 4 of us). It was unprofessional and uncomfortable having her watch us. She continued to stand there when we were done and talking, so I let her know that she could take our bill now. I have to say that was a first! 
Great Italian food! The pizzas and the lamb ragu were just delicious! The sourdough was harder than usual in the burata! The chili oil is my favorite! Add that to the pizzas or pastas and it takes it to the next level!
