The sandwiches here are fresher & better than Subway sandwiches are. I got the Cali Calisco which is a turkey sandwich that comes with bacon, white mozerella cheese, red onions, lettuce, mayonnaise & avacado. It comes on a crunchy dutch roll. I also got a cup of the chicken veggie soup which tastes like canned soup. I also tried a small piece of carrot cake. It's less sweet than most other carrot cakes I've eaten in the past. This place is clean, quiet & the service is fairly fast too. Everything minus the cake cist close to $24. I got a diet coke too.

i was craving a sandwich but my 1st choice was packed and i didnt want to wait 30 minutes for and sandwich. i found Eriks tight up the street and im glad i stopped. no line! tons of seating! a huge delicious sandwich, and my sandwich was ready before i could walk across the dining floor. the have a selection of soups and sides beyond great sandwiches. fantastic experience and glad the 1st place was a bust, Now Erik's is my first choice! i cant wait to come back and get more!

2-20-24: Decided to order from a different sandwich spot other than my usual place (Mr Pickles). I decided on Erik’s Deli Cafe which is close proximity to Mr Pickles. They are different in some ways but similar in other ways. Just like Mr Pickles, Erik’s Deli Cafe also offers a 20% discount on their order. Today I ordered the Square Meal combo which comes with a full sandwich and a cup of soup. In addition I ordered the Potato Salad, Bag of chips, and can of Coke. Total with a $5.00 discount was $37.14 definitely higher price than Mr PicklesThe Pilgrim: Appearance looks good and prepared with care and not sloppily made. Ingredients were portioned just right not too much and not stingy with ingredients. The bread was swirl rye bread and it was nice and soft and fresh, held up and wasn’t soggy even with all the ingredients placed on it. Taste was very good and would definitely order this particular sandwich again.Potato Salad: Cost wise it’s a lot more than Mr Pickles and it’s smaller in size {$6.99 vs $3.49} and THE SANDWICH SPOT offers a 1 pint potato salad for only $4.49. The potato salad has nice cut up pieces of potato BUT IT WAS SPOILED! Didn’t eat just tossed in GARBAGE! This was for a regular size as they also offer a Large Size for a few dollars more.Erik’s Deli Cafe: $6.99 & $8.49Mr Pickles: $3.49 1/2 PintThe Sandwich Spot: $4.49 1 PintCup of chicken rice soup: Soup was warm upon receiving it with nice pieces of diced up chicken and rice. Flavored okay. Container same size cup of Potato SaladThe sandwich was good , but I will try a third sandwich location that is near by The Sandwich Spot, POTATO SALAD WAS TERRIBLE IT WAS SPOILED!Erik’s Deli and Mr Pickles and The Sandwich Spot are all located almost next to each other in the same area. I’ve tried Mr Pickles and now Erik’s deli cafe and have left my reviews on each under the store names on Door DashOverall review of Erik’s Deli Cafe is good sandwich, quality needs some looking at as I received a spoiled order of Potato salad, the price is slightly HIGHER than ordering similar products at MR PICKLES..

They offer interesting and unique sandwiches and soups. I tried the chicken pesto with some beef stew. This is now one of my favorite sandwich shops, bravo to the team behind this establishment.

Long time fan of Erik's and been coming to this one for over twenty five years. They need to get AC, sweltering, but also need to get better help.

Erik's Deli disappoints amidst a sea of superior sandwich shops. Despite the plethora of alternatives in the area, Erik's lacks the culinary finesse and innovation one would expect. Mediocre ingredients and uninspiring flavor profiles make one question the purpose of its existence. With so many stellar options available, Erik's fails to justify its place in the market. It's disheartening to witness a deli fall short when others excel, leaving patrons to wonder why they settle for less. In a competitive landscape, Erik's Deli leaves much to be desired and fails to meet the standards set by its counterparts.

I haven't been to Erik's in years. Partly because I don't live in the area anymore but also because I went gluten-free and they didn't have much for me other than salads. And honestly what brings you to Erik's are the sandwiches. But on a recent visit back home we decided to stop by because I saw on their menu they had gluten-free bread! So I thought why not give it a whirl. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that combination of the super goo and sprouts. My sandwich brought back nostalgia and happy feelings. It's nice when things are consistent. It's exactly as I remembered except with gluten-free bread of course. I'm not sure what type they are using but it is a bit crumbly and would benefit from a little bit of toasting before putting on your sandwich. But mind you not everybody feels this way about their gluten-free bread. I personally like my bread to hold together when I'm eating a sandwich. This is a solid four star deli. It was clean, service was rapid, The decor from way back in the day was still up on the wall but again clean and well maintained. We happened to be attending during what appeared to be the after church crowd gathering but it wasn't too loud and the people working there were attentive and quick. Overall solid four stars :-)

Man. I really want to give a good review for this location but I can't. I eat here 1-2 week (Farmers Market, all veg sandwich). The sandwich making is all over the board. Rarely I get a perfect sandwich. sometimes it's average. Lately, it's terrible I don't know if I'm going to open my back to have my sandwich fall out of the wrapping, if it's going to fall apart in the wrapper, or if everything is going to be a ball in the middle of the bread. I worked at Erik's Deli when I was in high school. A little care goes a long way. Pull it together sandwich makers! Sheesh. I'm tired of wearing my sandwich!

Got the clam chowder and it was delicious. The outside seating was ok. Right by prune ridge shopping center. Will go here again

This was our favorite go-to place. I fabricated reason to get their sandwiches and soups. Then things changed, we stopped coming. There's a fund raiser event so I thought I will give it a refresh. The Rueben on Rye was good, but no longer a WOW. We used to do Pot Belly, but I couldn't do two sandwiches in a meal. I will still come back for sandwiches, but there are honestly better options now.

While the food is delicious and the customer service great I repeatedly find avacado Pits in the sandwiches that have avacado or hard ends of a huge tomato that are not easy to eat and today a piece of plastic (like Saran Wrap) in the sandwich. They really have no care during preparation as I've brought this to their attention more than a few times. Unfortunately this is the only Erik's deli close by. I did tell my work place to avoid ordering from here as they are not consistent in their food prep. Workers perhaps need training.
