Great seafood, great staff, cozy ambience. Recc try some of the oysters, clams and toast. Seafood pasta was good but didn’t stand out in particular. Pasta took a little longer to come out so our server brought us a crème brûlée on the house which was delicious.

Plan for some wait time past your reservatiomThey manage very tight table schedule. Had to wait 40 minutes past the reservation time because the table was not ready. We tried many different dishes, and the corn bread that came with the fried chicken was very good. We were also recommended to try the uni pasta...It was okay. But i enjoyed my crowd, so overall experience at this place was positive

Consistently good. By far the best place to get oysters locally. Staff is always professional and knowledgeable. Ambience is pleasant. Little touches like a curtain around the front door so the cold air doesn't blast in are appreciated.

Always amazing food and great vibe. My favorite oyster bar on the West Coast. They recently expanded the wine selection, which is awesome. One member of my family is a vegetarian and her options were limited to just salad or sides (they were out of the pasta). So some work is needed on expanding vegetarian options. Would be a perfect score and I love this place, but this time the 2nd round of drinks and bread took forever to get to the table. That oyster bake is very rich and without an accompanying libation just doesn't reach its full potential.

Food is always great. However, our server is either new or doesn't know how to work w/her tables. She rushed us through meals, and we felt like we were on a time limit to finish our food. Will have to evaluate whether it's worth coming back here again.

The service was great, we had a reservation but the only available places were at the bar. They said we could sit there and have drinks and we would get the first available table. We decided to just stay at the bar, it's interesting to watch the cooks. Very busy. Asked for a wine recommendation, but didn't really care for it, so she brought us samples of two other wines and we picked one. No charge for all the ones we tasted. Really enjoyed the fresh oysters, although several types were sold out, still a good selection. Went well with the bread, very tasty. Also had the octopus dish and the crab cake, both were good, I would have preferred less breading on the crab cake but we enjoyed it anyway.
We love coming to forthright! The food was especially delicious on our last visit. The oysters, crab cake, octopus and tuna sashimi were all divine. Cocktails always amazing too. Great for happy hour and small plates.

This was a special occasion; I noted in the reservation. The service was pretty terrible. It took 45 min to bring bread to the table, let alone take an order. The waitress stopped by initially and I said I had a few questions about the menu. She said sure, she'd just put an order in. It took her 20 minutes to get back to our table. I understand, as she told us, it was very busy. But there were even a couple open tables; and as my date pointed out, if they can't handle the capacity then don't offer more reservations. This was a big night for us; I was prepared to spend a lot on an incredible seafood/oyster meal as a celebration for my date; after such a frustrating start we left and ate somewhere else.
This is me and my fiancés favorite restaurant in Campbell and we love to support this establishment by referring everyone!It always hits - food is delicious and fresh, drinks are great, and service is always lovely. Cheers!

The chefs he's chosen to embrace and deliver his recipes are the best in town and deserving of accolade. Thank you, Forthright! PS - Our cocktails were also so well crafted that it's clear that the Forthright doesn't just have ‘bar tenders' - they have high level mixologists!

The chefs he's chosen to embrace and deliver his recipes are the best in town and deserving of accolade. Thank you, Forthright! The waiter spent most of his time talking to 2 ladies at the bar. Cocktails showed up after we had finished the oysters. The sever forgot about our bottle of wine. I love the food, but I would leave if assigned that sever again.
