Just the type of small family business I love supporting. Cultural experience, friendly service, and amazing sweets with a hot cup of tea

This cute and tucked-away pastry cafe is such a hidden gem! The lady working there was incredibly sweet and even gave us complimentary tea with our pastries. I tried the saffron pistachio ice cream-it was perfectly sweet, not overpowering, just the right balance. The pistachio cake was unlike anything l've had before; all the flavors melted together beautifully, making every bite so delicious. On top of that, the vibes were super aesthetic.
I'll definitely be coming back!

I shopped fresh kind of pastries Tuesday afternoon and they weren’t fresh at all. I guess they were left over of few days ago!
Very disappointed!

We had the Persian omelette and Cotlet which was ok and the saffron tea was delicious. I was surprised that the 2 pastries cost $13 and it’s so expensive. Service was excellent for weekend brunch and restaurant is very inviting.

We have always loved the Banana Walnut cake from Haleh, and were very sad after they had to close post-COVID. We were very glad to see them open up again, and recently got a Banana Walnut cake from there for a birthday.
The cake was dry and seemed old. Though Icing tasted alright, overall it was not an enjoyable experience. We also miss the great services the earlier owner used to provide.

My late husband and I used to go here when he was still alive and he would also bring home Haleh pastries and nuts whenever he was near the area.
I went here last week since I was craving for some sweets so I remember Haleh and got a slice of pistachio cake paired with their aromatic Persian tea.
I don’t know but it brought some warm, nostalgic feelings just being there 🙏❤️😢
Plus I saw some nice paintings made by a Persian artist and up for sale.

Loved the vibe and the food was reasonably priced
Dubai Chocolate was not fresh and was very stale. I was really disappointed. It small and expensive yet I still tipped prior to trying it.

-10 is more like it. We waited 1.5 hours and didn't receive food. You guys need to reconsider career choices seriously. If you don't have the skills to serve even 10 people just don't accept new customers. Super rude and disrespectful making people wait so long
