veggie burrito bowl, plus lettuce, plus green sauce. the green sauce is basically tomatillo salsa and was an extra $3.50. after i tipped them, take-out dinner was around $25. it was fresh, but not economical compared to chipotle.
The food was so delicious ! I loved the double steak taco , came with guacamole , beans and salsa. The flavors were really good and I loved the thick tortilla chips !
Lulu's is the go to whenever I'm at the Pruneyard! There's another restaurant named Luna's, but it usually is too crowded and doesn't have the same good vibes as Lulu's. The staff is amazing and super friendly! Anytime I want to get some authentic Mexican Tacos, I know Lulu's won't let me down!
I've given this place a few chances but both times it was quite disappointing. I think I actually tried the Al pastor both times. This was mainly because I love the Al pastor served at the San Carlos location and thought my first visit must have been a fluke. Nope, was bad both times.
Just been here twice but I want to give a five-star review to increase their average. When I asked for chips the first time, we came in right before closing so they said they ran out but gave us some warm with our order! The food is SO FRESH, warm, and delicious every time! You can really taste the care with which they select and prepare their ingredients. Great vegetarian options, too!!! Their agua frescas are en pointe as well. Spicy sauce is actually spicy and not watered down to play it safe like most places. Always yummy in my tummy, and that's a big compliment coming from someone who's not big on Mexican Cuisine since it's usually too heavy for my oh-so-delicate sensibilities (read: sensitive stomach). Go there go there go there!!!
Nice setting, great service, and a well seasoned fruit bowl.
This place has great flan!
Did not enjoy this experience. The chips were over cooked, the tortillas on my street tacos were stale, the chicken was greasy, and the iced tea tasted old. I wanted to like this place but it needs some attention. Also if you are going to ask for a tip of 15, 18 or 20% with each order then some level of service should be provided beyond that which would be received at any fast food restaurant. The staff was not friendly and did not provide any level of service. Disappointing.
The gentleman taking our order was super excited and very sweet. He was quite good. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed; not in the taste or quality of the ingredients, but in the amount of “filler”. I questioned whether there was chicken in my “chicken burrito” until my boyfriend took a couple of bites to confirm that there was. I probably wouldn’t have noticed the fact that it was mostly rice and refried beans, but we had limited salsa. As she prepared the food for take-out, I asked the woman, “can I have a bunch of salsa?”. Her response: “No. I can only give you a couple. Maybe 4.” She gave me 3. I had ordered 4 entrees and an appetizer totaling more than $60 (plus a preemptive 20% tip), and in the end I had literally 1 usable salsa. One was too hot, one was just not what I wanted and the one that I liked was shared between my boyfriend I among the many dishes we had ordered. Maybe we had no business being that glutinous anyway, but I would probably not go back to Lulu’s at the Pruneyard. Originally from Menlo Park, I would argue that the Palo Alto & Menlo Park locations are much better than this one. If not for consistency, than at least dispensing an adequate amount of salsa.
Poor. $12 Burrito with raw veggies calling it grilled. Quality is also poor

Vega vibe????????? ????????
I really like the food, but I asked for enchiladas with flour tortillas and. She said yes. I got corn tortillas. I am very disappointed
July 27 145pm 1st time here. I am blown away at how amazing their fajita shrimp burrito is but pleasantly surprised at how friendly and professional the staff treated me. From the call in to place my order to picking up and paying all 5 stars! The red salsa cup they gave was the right amount of spice that paired with the shrimp deliciously! I will definitely be back! Thank you for the great customer service and delicious food.
Had been wanting to try this place and gotta say it’s average at best. Not bad by any means but ‘ok’. Location is good with ample parking. However the extraordinary part were the prices, $1.25 for sprinkling of cilantro, really...
LuLu's offers fresh made tacos and burritos as well as breakfast dishes all made to order. Food was outstanding and very reasonable priced!
