Genuinely surprised by the less than stellar reviews for this place. Tons of clearly labeled vegetarian & vegan choices, lots of overlap with gluten free as well. Super accommodating to those with dietary considerations and food allergies. Service is friendly, restaurant is clean, take out is ready on time and the food is good. The only real complaint I have is that the parking here totally sucks. That's just the way it goes in busy shopping centers, but it's pretty much impossible to quickly pop in or out to pick up a meal.

Decent spot for some Mexican food. It is not as flashy or as crowded as Luna's next door which is one of my go-to spots. I was here for breakfast this morning and was the only person there which was great. Service was fast and efficient and the Huevos Rancheros was average.

Taqueria style place. Place your order at the front counter and wait for your number to be called. They charge for chips and salsa and if you want extra pico it's an extra 2.50 for a small container. The chips were cooked twice or perhaps store bought then fried to be presented as fresh. Nothing fresh about them. I ordered the super steak fajita burrito. It was a large burrito and it was okay. Not the best but also not the worst. Burrito, chips and salsa plus one coke can was $28.00. Seems to be more expensive then a taqueria but yet missing the quality for the cost. Staff was friendly and the place was clean however they may want to consider revamping their menu and focus on quality and flavor.

I'm giving this two stars only because the service was ok and I think they were understaffed. The food was crazy expensive and lacked flavor. I got the enchiladas with red sauce which tasted like tomato soup. My partner had the chile rellano dish which was better. We paid close to $40 for two plates and some chips and salsa (and a teeny cup of salsa at that). I guess there was a reason we were the only people in there...

Wow! Cute little find and nice food. I was not sure to try or not after reading other people's reviews. Anyways.. we order fish taco and chicken Enchalida. Food was good and just enough. Server was sweet and dropped off food and condiments for us. Will come here again.

veggie burrito bowl, plus lettuce, plus green sauce. the green sauce is basically tomatillo salsa and was an extra $3.50. after i tipped them, take-out dinner was around $25. it was fresh, but not economical compared to chipotle.

The food was so delicious ! I loved the double steak taco , came with guacamole , beans and salsa. The flavors were really good and I loved the thick tortilla chips !

I used to go to Lulus alot in Palo Alto and moved over to this one during the pandemic. Loved their food in PA then but now prices are going up to where a very basic burrito is over 12$-13+$ out the door, no chips (used to come with small handful but may be a fee now) and with wierd looks asking for 1/2 full salsas as mentioned in earlier reviews. One of the many great things about Lulus was their salsa bar Used to paying the bay area prices for things but as it stands now its enough for me to take a break from it.

I went to Lulu's soon after they opened, pre-pandemic, in December 2019, so I will admit that this review is over due. However, considering they took the spot of the most loved Mexican restaurant in Campbell, El Burros, I was expecting this place to be fantastic. It was not. The food is WAY over priced and it's mediocre in taste. Fancy Mexican food should not be a thing. They say it's authentic Mexican, but it's really more like cali-mex. it took a very long time for us to get our order, and I'm noticing via other reviews that this seems to be an ongoing problem. I live right next door to the Pruneyard, and visit there at least once a day. However, I have only been here once and based on my experience, I will not be returning. This says a lot considering how convenient it would be to order from here. Skip this place and if you want something nice/a little fancy, go to Kyoto Palace, or if you want Mexican, try Lucy's Mexican Grill down the street

Lulu's is the go to whenever I'm at the Pruneyard! There's another restaurant named Luna's, but it usually is too crowded and doesn't have the same good vibes as Lulu's. The staff is amazing and super friendly! Anytime I want to get some authentic Mexican Tacos, I know Lulu's won't let me down!

I don't know why it is so hard to ask for salsa here. There used to be an open salsa bar with unlimited salsa but with covid and takeout orders, they are only giving you 1 little salsa per order (1 order = 1 burrito). When asked for more, they wanted to charge for a whole side. And I only asked for 3 little salsas per order. If you like your food with a lot of salsa, I would not recommend going here unless the salsa bar is open. There are better mexican places out there that will give you more salsa and treat you like an actual customer. The lady rolled her eyes at me the whole time while asking for salsa. I don't know why it is so hard for them to give out salsa with their food. I've been going here since they opened and honestly, the service has gone down greatly since then. Staff has been rude the last couple visits over an ounce of salsa... Very disappointed.

This place used to be a gem. They have excellent salsa and used to have a great salsa bar. After the pandemic they haven't opened the salsa bar back up and now only offer a half filled 2oz of cup of salsa per burrito. If you ask for any more than this you get a side of attitude topped with an eye roll. The food is still fantastic but the staff the last 3 visits has made us feel like pariahs as they hoard what is honestly the best part of the food they serve.

Ugh....gentrified, poorly made Mexican food. We ordered a chicken enchilada meal and a chimichanga. Both were extremely disappointing. They use diced chicken breast....I have never had diced chicken at an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was salty and had a strange texture. The enchilada dinner was $17, and they served up two scrawny enchiladas with virtually no chicken. Each only had 4-5 cubes of chicken about 1/2" x 1/2" in size and a couple scraps of cheese. And they only sent the enchiladas with none of the rice and beans that were supposed to come with the meal. We will be asking for a credit from Door Dash for the enchiladas dinner. No way this place can stay in business long... Ridiculously priced Mexican food that tastes awful...never again. The reviews are spot-on; we should have read them first.

I wanted to write this review just after I had dinner but I waited to see I might not be feel so bad and angry later but after two days I still feel my money was wasted. I'd choose chipotle over this any-day for the taste, price and freshness. The vegetarian food is a joke. Please don't waste your money here. Go to Chipotle

I've given this place a few chances but both times it was quite disappointing. I think I actually tried the Al pastor both times. This was mainly because I love the Al pastor served at the San Carlos location and thought my first visit must have been a fluke. Nope, was bad both times.
