Came in a couple of weeks ago, the person who took our order (looks like the owner) was very distracted and had zero courtesy. Kept asking about what we want twice and was very cold. After eating in, I went to get takeout and same happened. Despite she asked me twice about what I want, I’ve discovered after I left the store the quantity was wrong. Would say she she didn’t charge extra

Unfortunately, Marvel Cake is one of those spots with a beautiful interior and stunning-looking desserts that just don’t deliver on taste. When we walked in, we were impressed by the wide variety of options and decided to try the Napoleon, the pink opera cake, and the chocolate opera cake. Starting with the pink opera cake, it was easily the worst of the three. It had an odd jelly layer that was extremely sour and completely clashed with the rest of the flavors. The gelatinous texture made it hard to eat, and we couldn’t even finish it. Definitely a waste of money. The chocolate opera cake was slightly better, but still missed the mark. The flavors were unbalanced, leaning far too bitter, and the overall composition just didn’t come together like a proper opera cake should. The Napoleon, however, was a standout. It was light, perfectly flaky, and had just the right level of sweetness, genuinely delicious. Overall, for the steep prices, having two out of three desserts be almost inedible was really disappointing. It’s a pretty place to look at, but definitely not one I’d return to for dessert.

Wish they opened a bit earlier — 10:00 a.m. feels late for a morning coffee and croissant. Everything they serve is absolutely delicious, but the staff could use a bit more training. What might just be cultural differences sometimes comes across as rudeness, as other reviews have also mentioned.

Love this space, its very cute and love the atmosphere and vibe, 5 stars all the way. We bought their cake for the second time here. While it's a good cake taste-wise, the cream is a little too stiff for me and it's a bit high on the price point.
Nice place, but the layout was poorly planned. The register is in the back. There’s no flow for customer lines. The pastry is good But nothing that blows my socks off. The staff is nice, but it’s kind of the same old thing every time.

So delicious!! This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I shared the 3 desserts shown in the picture..absolutely enjoyed every bite! We will be coming back for the Chocolate Hazelnut, that was recommended. Can’t wait to come back!
