My go-to cakery whenever I want to get something to impress my guests that I’m sure won’t disappoint. Have spent more money here than I’d care to admit…once bought a box of 9 just for two people…

The eclairs are phenomenal. Especially the berry / currant ones when they have them.

Their pastry crust is also the best I’ve tried in Bay Area. Flavors are delicate and well balanced. If only prices don’t keep going up…

Ordered cupcakes from here for an event and they came out beautifully. The boxes they came in made for easy transport and they were a big hit, especially the red velvet. Of course there are other great pastries in the shop like the spiral croissants. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful bakery with unique treats. The staff is hit or miss. Cashier made a mistake when ordering a latte (they gave a hot latte, I ordered iced), Barista rudely rolled her eyes and spoke to me in a harsh tone. It was unpleasant for what I imagine is a common mistake on their part. Completely not necessary, I expect a higher level of customer service at that price point. I purchased 2 spiral croissants, 2 mini Almond Cookies, 1 Serenity, 1 Ube cake, 1 iced latte and the total was just about $53. I’d rather go to Manresa Bread where the staff is so much more friendly and the baked goods are worth the price.

We came to the bakery today genuinely excited, hoping to find a beautiful and meaningful gift for a beloved family member. While the cakes we purchased were delicious, the overall experience was deeply disappointing, and honestly, quite upsetting. The staff member who assisted us around 5:40–6PM on May 23rd was astonishingly rude. We tried to ask for her suggestions and later asked how we could best protect the cakes on our walk home. She responded with clear disinterest, as if helping us was somehow beneath her or simply not her concern. It left us wondering, does the bakery intentionally train its staff to be cold and dismissive to match some outdated idea of “Parisian charm”? Because if so, it’s working, but in a terrible way. Her attitude ruined what could have been a joyful and memorable moment. A bakery’s legacy is built not only on taste, but on hospitality and warmth. If this is how customers are treated, that legacy will fade fast. To the owner, you really need to choose the right person to stand there with pride. Otherwise, you risk letting someone else ruin everything you’ve built.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake! Even though we had a small, two-tier design, our baker went above and beyond to make it feel truly special. The gold trim was elegant and perfect for a simple but classy look. They also added some fresh flowers so it tied in perfectly with the rest of our decor.

Not only was the cake absolutely stunning, but it tasted AMAZING. It was fresh, flavorful, and balanced. We ended up going with vanilla buttercream with strawberry filling and our guests loved it. Some even asked to take some home!

The whole process was smooth from start to finish. The baker came out to the floor to talk though what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and overall made for a lovely experience with Marvel Cakes. Highly recommend to any couple looking for something both beautiful and delicious on their big day!

We've been to this café a few times now, and it never disappoints. I definitely recommend it for anyone who loves beautifully crafted desserts paired with equally lovely service. One of the things that makes this place stand out is their attention to detail—not just in the food, but in the atmosphere too. They regularly change their decorations to match the season or holiday, which always makes each visit feel fresh and festive. A charming spot worth visiting again and again!

My daughter's friend drove from Hollister to Cambel for these pastries. They were for our Mother's day afternoon tea. They were delicious 😋. We shared all of them. Marvel Cake will be my Goto for special occasions. YUMMY!!!

Everything was great except the service, I asked about the croissant filling she gave me that look as if I was supposed to know what was inside. Could she just say pistachio and chocolate. They should improve customer service

My family and I tried different items. We ordered 3 spiral croissants (Ube, Pistachio, & Chocolate). The Ube flavor was delicious 😋, but the Pistachio was just okay. I didn't like it, but my husband said it was okay. The Chocolate one is like mousse and it's not that great. We also tried a passion fruit tart, which was just okay. The Almond bread was yummy, crunchy, and good. The spinach & feta cheese was good, but it needed to be in the oven to make it even better. As for the flat croissants, the strawberry and Pistachio ones were not worth it. They tasted only like crunchy sugar. For all these items, I paid $57. Now, my low rating is because of the staff's attitude. They all seemed to have long faces. When we asked about the flavors of the spiral croissants, it seemed like it was upsetting for them to answer our question. Also, they told us the flavors wrong. The staff didn't make us feel welcome. Despite that, the place is beautiful.

Delicious Parisian style desserts. Cafe is quite sizable with lots of seating area. Each cake costs around $10.

A big shout out to Maryam and Marvel Cake for the most delicious and gorgeous wedding cake imaginable. The bride and groom are both developmentally delayed and dreamed of having a Disney Frozen-themed wedding. The cake was so incredibly special -- you could see and taste the love and passion that went into making it. The cake was a beautiful Disney Frozen blue covered with sparkly white snowflakes. The top tier was vanilla with their signature Bavarian custard filling with fresh strawberries, and the bottom tier was chocolate with their famous chocolate mousse filling. If just reading this makes your mouth water, then you are not alone! We received nothing but compliments all evening. If you want both beauty and exquisite taste, then Marvel Cake is the place to go! Thank you, Maryam and Marvel Cake, for making our Disney Frozen magical dream wedding come true. We are so grateful!
