So many of our guests commented about their team's food and service. They were incredible easy to work with, flexible in our requests, and their execution was on point. If you are debating having them be your caterer, I can't recommend them enough.

We can't really imagine what a better caterer would look like. From the initial tasting, we were pretty blown away by how well Michi is run, how good their food is, and the quality of service. They're prompt in communication (more often than not, they were two steps ahead of us on being prepared for the event), exceptionally flexible on how you want your food prepared and the event run, and above all else, just overwhelmingly kind. At the core of the catering team is a family that is personable, friendly, and excited for you. And then around that is a highly professional staff capable of managing the event without breaking a sweat. Once we got to the wedding (~120 guests), the food was as good as if not better than the small scale tastings we did, and our wide variety of guests were all really happy with it.
They're on the pricier end of caterers, but for us, it was more than worth it after seeing how phenomenal the food, service, and coordination was with them.

All the food was excellent and the staff was very professional. I can't wait to try their food again during another event!

Michi Catering is incredible. Hard stop. But if you want to know why:
Food - Sure my wedding was beautiful. But the number one thing people kept on telling me was the food. We had so much fun picking the menu with the incredible variety and quality of ingredients that Michi offered. It was the ultimate combination of all the Asian cuisines we love. The live station was so unique. Lamb and sea bass were standouts.
Drinks - Michi had offered so much variety in cocktails and the bartenders were fire. If it wasn't my wedding, I would've had more.
Service - The Michi team goes above and beyond to service guests. We had a guest whose dietary restrictions weren't known before the event, and Mr. Michi himself went to make her a special dish. I didn't even know about this until after the wedding but it warmed my heart that he went above and beyond to take care of my guests as I would have.
Value - Most importantly, picking Michi means that you get a lot of value for your money. When comparing vendors, it's hard to understand the apples to apples comparison of what's included/not included. The biggest difference of Michi's package is that it includes rentals from Standard. But there's nothing Standard about these rentals. The rentals have a lot of variety that you can put together a magazine worthy event without paying anything extra for design of plates, cutlery, glassware, and linens. This is HUGE savings.
Michi Fam - More important than the catering vendor is the people behind the service. I have so much respect and adoration for the Michi family. This is a family run business and I had the biggest smile on my face every time I got to see Mr. Michi throughout the tastings and the day of the event.

If I could give 10 stars to Michi Catering, I would. Mike, Raphael, and Michi all are superstars individually, who make such a strong team. Since the moment we met them to discuss our vision to the day of our backyard wedding, we always felt heard, genuinely cared for, and that they were equally as excited as we were for the day.
So many of our guests let us know how much they loved the food and I believe a few of them have worked with them on parties and weddings. One of the weddings of my friend's is coming up in a couple months and they're working with Michi's! I'm excited to go to the wedding to see the Michi fam and eat their delicious food again. If you're reading this review, book them when you can!

100,000% would choose Michi Catering all over again for any event that requires catering. Everyone we've chatted with after our wedding has said the food was amazing and they were so full at the end of the night. They were amazed by how often the appetizers came around during cocktail hour. None of the guests had to scout for those food trays because they came around so often.We chose Michi Catering because of the variety of options they are able to make and the LIVE SUSHI STATION. I'm pretty sure as soon as they mentioned that, I looked to my (now) husband and my eyes were saying 'we need to hire them'. We both love sushi and it was a huge hit at the wedding.We communicated with both Mike and Raphael throughout our planning phase and they were very responsive, even if it was just a simple question. We love that they're AAPI + family owned; and they're just super friendly and easy to work with. Definitely made things less stressful and they absolutely delivered on the day-of.The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't get to eat everything on our wedding day but at least we tried everything during the food tasting :)If you end up hiring Michi, make sure you eat!
