Only giving 2 stars because our waiter was lovely. We waited 30+ minutes for our food and when it did come out it was obvious it had been sitting for a while. We got French toast and the whipped cream was totally melted on top and my partners food was cold. They also charge an extra $8 for eggs and sausage or bacon and it came with only one egg and 2 tiny sausage links. The photo on the menu was an entirely different portion size than what was given to us and absolutely not worth the money. The food was good but we were frustrated by how long it took our food to get to us and that what we were given was nothing like what we expected to get. Sadly will not be going back.

Small but sweet spot for breakfast

The service was incredibly slow. We sat for more than 20 minutes before anyone even checked on us. The food was good, but service was incredibly slow. I never got offered a refill on my coffee and I had to ask for water.

Excellent food. Service was great. Mimosas were tall and bubly. Everything you could ask for. Great hole-in-the-wall joint. Will be coming back.

Good food and portion sizes for brunch/lunch for mexican-american cuisine.

I hesitate to review this place because it seems like such a well kept secret. Come here, but don't blow up the spot. Food is great, service is usually pretty good. The atmosphere outside is great but it feels like they want the inside to be a dance party at 9 in the morning. I could do with some quieter, more chill tunes, but it's not a deal breaker. Just sit outside if you want a more relaxing morning.

We found this place by accident. It's just down the street from the Pruneyard and is tucked away at the end of an alleyway servicing a small strip mall. The sign on Bascom Ave is inconspicuous enough that you'll miss it if you're not looking for it. But what a find this family-owned restaurant is! The indoor space looks a bit like a typical diner, so we opted to sit on the outdoor patio, seeing as how it was a nice day. Our server, Vincente (sp?) was very friendly and helpful. My wife had the Vegetable Benedict, and I had the Veggie Scramble. The food was fresh and very tasty. We noticed a vegetable garden right next to the restaurant, so we imagined this may be where some of the ingredients come from.
We will definitely visit Mimosas Brunch & Bubbles next time we're in the area!

Coming through Santa Clara area looking for a brunch joint and we were not disappointed. Easy atmosphere for families. Delicious food.

We split a pancake short stack for our two kids and it came out with two individual plates, all dressed up, as if they were meant to be served alone. Adorable.

Mimosas are special here, too, with an added shot of house-made, fruit infused tequila. You get more for a very reasonable price of $10 (subject to change and understandably).

Family owned! Matriarch thanked us greatly for choosing their restaurant.
