These people are going through the hassle and expense of remodeling the restaurant to provide a more upscale dining experience for their clientele and still trying to accommodate those who want the dine there. Instead of appreciating their efforts, some people still find an excuse to whine. I guess there is no satisfying idiots.
They are remodeling. So the dining room is closed but they have few tables outside with direct sun under the heat and no fans.
They should have have updated their status on the website/google so people would know.
My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic experience here. First of all the customer service is 20/10. Everyone was extremely kind and hospitable. 2nd, the food was delicious. We ordered almost every single meat on the menu to sample with rice and appetizers on the side and everything was amazing. It felt like a grandmother was cooking the meal for us. We came on a Friday and there was a pianist playing beautiful music and we are going back on a Saturday for the DJ.
Lady on duty was a little bit rude first time and definitely last time here
I have been going to Negeen for many years now. It is one if not the best Persian restaurant in the Bay Area.
Food was great! Staff were respectful and caring! Perfect place to have a memorable evening!
It's maybe a little expensive, but consider that you take your table for all night with an amazing dancer and singer!🤗👌
Their food needs more salt and they try with their service but I don't think they have enough staff....
Their fesenjoon is tooooooo sweat.

Only have had takeout from this restaurant. The food is pretty good - average Persian kebab.
The tahdig never makes it home in good condition. Either the stew is too soggy or they don’t get the tahdig crispy enough before pouring it on. I’ve had other Persian restaurants to-go and haven’t had the same issue with soggy tahdig.
Ambiance is also ok. Haven’t needed to deal with it though since again, only takeout.

Everything was good, service, atmosphere but just not the food. Didn’t taste like the original persian food. Kebabs were not good and thd portions were small. Buf we enjoyed our lunch because of nice staff and the decorations

This review by J. Silver is just a bunch of malarkey. I have been the customer of this restaurant for more than 20 years. They have the best food and are the nicest people. Whatever her motive is, she should be ashamed of herself. It’s best for such people to stay home and perhaps, as she suggest, starve.

worst restaurant i’ve ever experienced in my life from service to food. extremely disrespectful staff and screwed up all the orders for our takeout. Would rather starve than eat here again.
