Really love this place. The bartenders are always friendly, the beer selection is great, friendly dogs are welcome, and its an overall great hangout.I understand that some reviewers are confused as to why their under 21 year old children are not allowed inside. This is because Out of the Barrel is, shockingly, a bar.

it's becoming our new favorite stop for beer and snacks in this aree. relaxing, tasty beer offerings, snacks menu can be improved but it's not bad at all.

Beer selection is good but being someone who is accustomed to The Running Shop & Hops in Morgan Hill, this place doesn't compare. We just moved back to the area and we're looking for a taproom to visit on date nights. We came with our 5month baby and when paying she asked if we're to stay or to go. When we said to stay, she said we can't because the baby. Sooo why even ask? It's crazy how even an infant isn't allowed to be in the beer garden when The Running Shop & Hops is so family friendly.

Awesome place! I brought my dog and he definitely loved the attention. Love that this place let me bring my dog and beer is great! Especially the canned beers you can get. I found one from San Diego called pure project. Didn't expect to find this here at all! Will definitely come back and bring my dog!
Trivia on Tuesday evenings is super fun. Bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Good beer on tap and lots of canned options in the fridge. Selection changes often!

Great selection of beers. I got the Gretchen from Sante Adairius Rustic Ales. It was nice and hoppy, in an Oktoberfest style. For food I ordered the chorizo al camizon, which took a really long time to come out; they estimated about 15-20 minutes but it actually took well over 30.3.5 stars

Out of the Barrel is a unique concept - it is a beer garden in the middle of a shopping center where you can order from 20+ beers on tap and bring outside food. From what I hear the selection of beer on tap rotates so you never know what you will get. The service is great (you can sample the beers), the beer is pretty good, but the seating is pretty limited. If you are lucky enough to score a seat you can people watch and take in the eclectic crowd while enjoying your beer. I would definitely go back if I had a few minutes at the end of the day. The Pruneyard is a pretty cool place.
