I’m raised in Philly. And honestly cheese whiz is a good sign your are a tourist. There are two main components that make it authentic. And I beg the owners to go on a cheese steak tour in neighborhoods like germantown and Erie even the northeast by cottman and Algon aves to experience what a real cheesesteak is. Having lived right across the street from a Giovanni’s pizza in high school. I would never put this in mouth. Don’t do it. They don’t have a clue. There are others. This isn’t it.

This place is in Buca. The bread was yeasty per my wife. It was really soft, might have been better toasted. Cool idea to make a different, take-out-friendly food in the Buca kitchen but executed poorly.

Putting a star is an insult to the star. The food is horrible. Order cheese steak fries and a Buffalo cheese Philly steak. Waited for 45 min to get order once received they gave me wings instead of Buffalo Philly went back and told them. They said to wait 5 mins. Then they made the wrong Philly. Fries are bagged frozen fries. With cheese and dried meat. Please don’t waste your time and money here.
