Went to this location a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my son and my sister's birthdays. We were a group of 8 and called in reservations ahead of time. We also asked if they could put a cake in the fridge for us and if they have a large knife we could use - we were assured they had a cake knife and a light to light candles. Service was horrible - the server never checked on our table, we had to hunt her down for refills, when our food came she didn't serve out the first slice and when we tried to do it we noticed the pizza wasn't cut all the way thru. When we told her it wasn't cut all the way she just turned and acted like she didn't hear us. when we asked for the cake knife and lighter and explained we were told by the manager on the phone that they had it she just laughed and said they didn't and walked away. Maybe because we were a large group and she knew she was already going to be getting a large but it made for a really horrible birthday dinner. Patxi's has been a family favorite for many years and this is the first time we've ever been treated so horribly. Unfortunately it left a sour enough taste that even my son said - well looks like we'll have to go to the other deep dish pizza place. Sorry Patxi's - I'll miss you

Received a DoorDash order. Dasher said restaurant didn't give them the 2 missing pizzas. However the food we did get was cold and the dough was raw. Eating in person might go better but I would avoid take out.

Would not return. Service was terrible on top of a deep dish pizza that was served warm, all sauce, little to none of the actual ingredients, an average salad. Overall waste of money.Front door is also broken, so you walk in awkwardly through a side door. No iced tea available, sorry we don’t have any!

The worst pizza place I've ever been to ٫ I didn't like it at all the garlic sticks were to garlicky and the service was horrible on my table there was a dead bee and my waiter was very rude I asked for new plates because they were messy and she questioned me and rolled her eyes at me and my kids. so I rate this 1 star im sorry but I will not be coming back.

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon sat down and asked if they were showing a game. The waitress told me she's busy and she will get to it when she gets to it. I proceeded to wait another ten mins with absolutely no service, not even a water. The waitress then comes back over to us and when I ask her about the game again she proceeds to rudely tell me she didn't forget like she said earlier she still hasn't gotten to it and still doesn't take my order. Never coming here again. She kept saying they were slow because they only had two people working, but it wasn't even the new guy that was the issue it was her.

Service and food were excellent. Food came out promptly since we were the only ones here at 4pm. The server was rather rude, I felt like i was bothering her when I asked questions about the menu or asking for a soda refill. Other than the rude waitress, it was very good!

Great pizzas. Tried 2 of them. They have a new chocolate chip cookie dessert and they hit it out of the park. Its goooey and super yummy. I could return just for desserts.

We usually are here for their deep dish pizza which is pretty amazing but we are not a fan of their thin crust pizzas. Our last visit here was in a bit of hurry and hence we requested the server to take our order so that the food gets to us in time but she was pretty rude to us “the food will cook in its own time” like duh huh we know and that’s why we want to get the order in asap.She rolled her eyes every time we asked for something and gave the worst possible service ever.Probably not going back again.

We have been to Patxi a few times before covid and it was great. We went back a couple times before the end of covid and they said the oven was not working so they couldn't make us pizza or hot food so we left. I recently understand they went through new ownership, so we decided to give them another chance. We got there around 11:15 on a Saturday, they were suppose to be open from 11:00 to 10:00pm and the doors were locked? Finally someone came out and said the restaurant won't be open till after 12:00 because they need to go to a store and pick up certain ingredients? I thought it was a joke but she just closed the door. We couldn't believe this because this is a business with certain hours of serving the public. It was so weird and we left to go eat somewhere else. I don't know how the other Patxis are serving people, but this place on Bascom Ave need some serious help! We will never go back because we don't know if they will be open!! haha KF
Pizza was really good, I personally would have liked it a bit crisper but note taken for next time! Good and friendly staff. Nice and clean dining area.

Fantastic pizza as always. Got a large deepdish pep mush sausage. The server Jessica was super nice and always came to check on drinks and whatnot. She killed it. I saw a "San Francisco" tat on her arm so she's probly a 49er fan. So that's a plus. Go

I'm from Chicago. It's def not deep dish. Pizza tastes just alright, but definitely not deep dish. Way too thin. Also could be cooked a bit longer. Edit: detracted to 1 star because I remembered the price. No one in Chicago will charge you $50 for deep dish (You'll also get a bigger pie in Chicago). Sauce also kinda reminds me of lunchables.
