I really don’t understand why this place has 4 stars lol. The tamales are NOT GOOD.
The portion is big but it’s mostly masa with very little filling. The masa can taste weird depending on which filling you get, I got chicken with green mole and it kinda tasted like mayo.
There was very little mole inside the tamales for all the flavors we got (beef with red mole, chicken with green mole, chicharrón, pork with green mole).
Overall, don’t recommend. I am not coming back to this place.

I am in search of a great tamal. My gold standard are the tamales from either the Tamale Factory in Watsonville or from El Rancho Market on Willow in Menlo Park. Super Tamales are fresh, made daily and the masa is cake -like and delicious, The filling is scant and difficult to find. Super Tamales are therefore fresh but not flavorful. Unable to recommend Super Tamales unless you are doing a smog check.

Last Sunday I passed by and the man, without wanting to even talk, said that the tamales were not yet there and the time was 6am when I went, it was almost 7am... please change your hours on the internet because no one wants to waste time just because you are not ready. Still the nerve to say that since it's Sunday.....then change your hours!

These are great tamales! Whenever I need a potluck meal I grab a casserole dish from home and they fill it up! Always a hit!

Best, full of meat
(Translated by Google) Before they were good but they don't use mixed LA mass anymore. Now the tamales fall apart easily and the dough does not taste the same. I understand that they have to cut costs. There are also times when the tamales are still a bit raw and I have to finish cooking them in the oven.(Original)Antes estaban Buenos pero ya no usan LA mass mixtalizada. Ahora Los tamales se desacen facilmente y LA masa no sabe igual. Yo entiendo que tienen que cortar costs. Tambien ay veces qu Los tamales todavia estan un poco crudos y Los tengo que acabar de cocinar en El horno.

On 10/14/2022 I bought 3 dozen tamalesI bought that many to share with my coworkers. But we where so disappointed because the pork tamales did not have enough meat and to much dough. The dough was a bit dry.The tamales de raja didn't even have full slices of chile.I spent $103.00I'm Mexican I I love tamales but this are not even close to been Auntentic Mexican tamales. The chicken tamales did have a bit more chicken. When a Mexican tamale is juicy because it has a good amount of mole.So mole, plenty of Manteca or lord make the dough and the meats more moist.

These tamales are soooo good! I definitely recommend you try them. My favorite are their beef and pork. The sauce is really flavorful and the masa texture is perfect!
Super dry even with the sauce. Masa had little to no flavor.
Ordering process bogged down heavily by bulk ordersmade on-site and slow payment processing. Expect to wait long. Food itself is good.
Wow! Who knew you could find a decent tamal in west San Jose.Salsa is not too hot, which is actually how I like it. Thanks
I tried their tamales at their Snell location in San Jose. The tamales were fairly large, but there was no flavor. I got pork, chicken, and rajas tamales and honestly my family and I did not like them. They were bland. The chicken and pork were both dry.
