This is ridiculous! I’ve ordered many times in this restaurant with proof from Grubhub. Last time the staff made a mistake by giving me a wrong item. I contacted grubhub for refund request, and today I placed the same order and I call them to confirm it (because there were two times, the staff didn’t even check grubhub orders, causing me to wait for a long time, so i had to call them to confirm my order).
Then they said I should have contacted them for refund and shown them proof instead of contacting Grubhub support. WTH??? How come as a costumer knows who to contact first? Also you have no right to ask me which contact option I should use. I told them not to make my food and I won’t visit anymore. I was planning to bring a group of friends there for dinner, but now we will give other nicer restaurants this chance!
1. You didn’t even apologize for your mistake! 2. You suspect me as a liar! You said because of my refund request, the restaurant needs to accept the loss but it’s your fault, not me!! 3. One time I ordered from Grubhub, you lied to me that the order hasn’t arrived but it turned out you forgot to check the order status. You didn’t even check!! 4. You didn’t learn the mistake and make the same mistake again because another time luckily I called and you finally open the app to accept the order!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars I had an incredible experience at Sushi Zono! The fish was unbelievably fresh, with every piece bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The presentation was beautiful, and you could tell a lot of care went into every dish. The staff were warm, attentive, and made great recommendations — they really made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, making it perfect for both a casual night out or a special occasion. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to in the Bay Area. I’ll definitely be coming back
