The food is superb as well as the staff.
I have been eating here for years more so when I lived in the area. Now, whenever I am in the area for appointments. Today, I was craving some pigs blood, so I ordered the dinuguan, but I asked to throw in some pig ears to get that little crunch. Ed, the owner added pig ears one day when I was sitting at his bar, and I have been hooked since. Growing up eating moms cooking, it is always hard to find places that make it similar to her flavors, but this dish brings back childhood memories of her when she was still with us. It was an amazing lunch. The silog here is also on point. I usually have the lechon. Stop by and support local business! Ed has a Santa Clara location where he is usually at so, swing by for a home cooked meal or order to go. They also provide catering services.
love Tapsilog Bistro as some of the best food around
Foods are so delicious and they have large servings and the customer service was very good.
This is not a criticism, only observations and recommendations. Their food looks like filipino food but doesnt not taste like filipino food. there is a lack of any depth of flavor of authentic filipino food. I think this is due in part to the menu being too large. If they reduce the number of entrées on the menu, they could perhaps focus more on the flavor. although this is common to Filipino food, there was way too many pork dishes I found there wasn't a balance of chicken, beef and vegetarian options
Such good food and experience.
Good parking, easy to spot in the square.
1 restroom that is unisex.
Fast service, large menu with diverse meats (and not).
Hope to return to try more dishes.
I enjoyed my Longsilog! 😋
The rice could've had a bit more garlic flavor.
The best Longanisa I've ever had!!! 😋 Wonder if they'd tell me where I could buy them uncooked. 😊
The place has gone down hill. The tocino was rubbery, lumpia burnt, porksilog had too much fat and they stopped serving halo halo (a Filipino staple dessert). A true disappointment…
This was our first time at this restaurant. The server was great, but the menu had way too many options, making it hard to navigate. When our order arrived, the pork belly was overcooked, and the chicken was so salty that I could only eat the rice and egg.
On a positive note, the halo-halo dessert was good. However, I’m not sure if the issues we experienced were because we visited the day before Thanksgiving, possibly when the staff was short-handed.

“The food was absolutely delicious, and the Bicol Express was a standout—it’s the only one I’ve had that truly feels legit! We had bagnet bagoong and Bicol Express for lunch, and both dishes were fantastic. The service was just as impressive—they welcomed us warmly and provided excellent service throughout. Highly recommended!”

Restaurantji Recommends
I recently visited and ordered the sizzling tapa steak, but unfortunately, it was overcooked and too dry for my liking. However, the situation was quickly addressed by the manager, Mr. Karan. He was extremely helpful and professional, offering recommendations and working to solve the problem. Mr. Karan personally ensured that I was offered different dishes to make up for the experience, and his attentiveness made a huge difference.
If you ever visit, I highly recommend asking for Mr. Karan he truly cares about customer satisfaction and goes the extra mile to make sure you leave happy!

Was not treated fairly because I of my ethnicity, sadly. I will not be coming back because of that. It sucks because we as a family want to come and experience the beautiful culture thru food.
The halo halo beans were not fully cooked, and they missed putting ingredients inside of it. Also the cantaloupe juice was just water with a few strips of cantaloupe in it.

Pork sisig was not bad - didn't come with pork face, ears, cheek. The liempo (pork belly) was very good. Garlic rice was meh. Fried egg was a lil overcooked - yolk wasn't runny. Presentation is great. Would come back here to try other items. Be prepared to smell like food if you dine inside.
