Wow! This place really looks nice inside. I saw their restaurant name sign outside and seems like they haven’t changed it since they opened, which is a bout a decade ago. Anyways, you can see that there are plenty of decorations inside and it’s mostly about sports. It also gives you a good vibe of living in the Philippines since the environment of that place tends to be like.Let’s talk about the food. I am quite impressed that they serve us food in more cultural plates with a leaf sticking at the top. The food is also delicious and authentic. Really great choice of seasonings especially on the garlic rice and pork sisig! No wonder this place is so popular especially on Yelp. It’s also great that they leave utensils out there unlike most restaurants where you have to ask them for extra. Honestly wish that they have more individual plates options in the menu, but that’s fine. I came here for breakfast and popularity of it anyways!

It is a bar with amazing Philippino food. We got the sisig with pig ear and pork. Most amazing dish. The sour soup was good too. The tapsilog was too salty. Too bad they close early on Tuesday, otherwise I wanna try some dessert as well.

Had a wonderful time, staff was pleasant and very helpful. Staff also gave enough time and space as orders were being made, while also being clear when helping.Ordered a Grandsilog (4 meats) with Longganisa (cured sweet sausage), Tocilog (cured sweet bacon), Chicken Adobo, Beef Tapa with Egg, Garlic Fried Rice, along with Veggie Spring Rolls and Calamansi Juice

It's sad for me to just give 2 starts to my fellow kababayan. But it's mainly on the food and price. The service and friendliness, the atmosphere and cleanliness are great. I did not mind the setup looking like bahay kubo when you first come in but then a american pub when you start looking around. Maybe they are trying to mimic those kakanin in the Philippines ?? by the american military bases. I don't know...Now for the food... it's fast and came in almost the same time. We tried the Chicken Pancit, Lumpia, Kare-Kare with Beef and Bangus Sisig. I know that's alot but that's what happened when you passed your meal time for few hours. Anyways...First that came Lumpia... first look store bought, not hand made. It's cut in half, cooked in high heat but still very, very bit cold inside. Taste store bought...Second that came Chicken Pancit... looks good with some Canton noodles very fine chopped bits of chicken and typical Filipino Pancit ingredients. Taste good enough...Third that came Bangus Sisig... wife looking forward to have for a long while. But on a first looked it's very, very, very oily. Good portion of the Milk Fish and again typical Filipino ingredients which is not bad, it's how it is. Precooked fish that was crumble and fried in oily and ingredients. Lacking in flavor of Sisig. Milk Fish is a very mild tasting fish and usually needs more flavor to help with the taste. No Taste at all...Fourth that came Kare-Kare... this is my wife's favorite dish and keep in mind it's not easy to prepare such a dish. So all the ingredients are pre-made. Vegetables and Meat are cooked ahead. That's okay but the problem specially with the meat it dries up. The beef is tender and not hard to chew but no flavor and judging on looks, it's been sitting out of the water for a while so it will not overcooke, I know coz I've done it myself. Not all are coated with the Peanut sauce and tasting the beef by itself is just like its been boiled in water without salt. The vegetables are great. The Peanut sauce is okay. Overall taste 2 stars...Okay, you don't have to take what I've said above and you can taste for yourself. By the way, all our orders are a la carte. We paid over $80 + tip.Conclusion... for two very, very hungry ? people all food should taste good ? right? Well, that is usually the case but not in our experience. Will we go back, NO ???One more thing... come early and bring a snack coz you will spend 15 minutes to find parking.Stop the press... I almost forgot the Turon. Wow, wow, wow... deep fried banana wrap in a spring roll wrapper. Frozen, frozen, frozen ???inside warm outside ???

I had the lechon kawali silog. The garlic fried rice and the fried egg is really good. The lechon kawali is pretty good too. The halohalo is pretty basic but it has a huge scoop of ube ice cream which I like.

It's been a go to spot for Filipino food for a long while. As a person that is a foreigner to Filipino cuisine, there's always something new to try. When in doubt, order something with pork belly and you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly and super helpful.

The happiness this place brought him was awesome to see ?.Everything was fresh, perfectly fried crispy without being greasy, & so flavorful. Really filling portion sizes. The juices are super yummy too!Large menu with so many options. Staff were friendly & the atmosphere was cozy & inviting. Will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!!

We took mom for her birthday, she wanted Filipino food. We haven't been to Tapsilog in a long time. With more people, you can order extra food to share family-style. We ordered BBQ pork skewers, spinach laing, dinuguan, Shanghai lumpia, lechon kawali, and garlic rice. The servings were generous and the food tasty. The service was friendly. I liked that the lechon was fried but not dry and the skin was crispy. My parents appreciated that the food was not overly salty as well.

I defaulted to the namesake menu item, and added some lumpia and also tried the fried pig's ears + tofu. Wasn't steered wrong.

We ordered lunch through Doordash today and this was the worst Filipino food ever. Ginataang Hipon at Tahon some of the shrimps are still frozen. Pancit Guisado Noodles went straight to trash. The noodles are sticky and smelled really bad. The only thing tolerable was the chicken adobosilog. I do hope we can get our money back. Save your time and money, eat somewhere else.
