The food here is so fire! My friend recommended this place to get dinner before an event at San Jose Civic, and I'm so glad she did. They were able to accommodate my friend's shellfish allergy and vegetarian diet. I appreciate their effort to ensure she was able to safely eat the food, and removing the fish sauce didn't affect the quality or flavour at all. If anything, the food tasted even better because it didn't rely on one ingredient for its flavour profile. Highly recommend this place and look forward to stopping by again when I'm in the area.

Excellent service and food! Group of 4- seated quickly on a Friday evening. Fantastic service and attention. Two got chicken pad Thai and one pork pad thai- I tried a bite and it was delicious and very generous portions! I ordered the chicken panang curry and it was incredible! I literally used my spoon to finish the curry sauce (I was too full to eat the chicken and bell peppers) because it was that good!! I was offered mild, medium or hot - I got mild being my first time there and it was the perfect amount before getting on a plane with enough spice but not overpowering the food. I wish I had curry that good in Colorado!Vegetarian options: Crispy tofu is a protein option

Food and service is great here! I I’ve only gotten to-go, but I have ordered via phone and only and both were very easy and fast. I’ve gotten the pad see ew, shrimp spring rolls, and bamboo stir fry. Flavor is excellent and portions are big!

Delicious Thai food in a cozy restaurant. We came here over the holidays and it was nicely decorated inside. It's not a big place but worth the wait if you are not seated right away. We ordered a Penang curry and pad kee mao. The food came within 10-15 minutes which was pretty quick! I got the pad kee mao medium spicy which was perfect for me. It had a kick but was not overbearing (I'm saying this as someone who eats spicy food). Hubby got it spicy and I tried it and I didn't feel it overwhelmingly spicy either which was nice. The waiters were very friendly and personable. They were very attentive to our and others tables. The music was nice inside and not too dull which gave the restaurant a lively but at the same time relaxing feel to it. It's not one of those uptight serious places. Great experience and great food and I will for sure be back!

It was my first time trying Thai Orchid and we got food delivered from here. I was super excited to try Thai food from a new place and especially here since it had some really good reviews. Our order was simple - basil fried rice and ginger chicken with veggies.The service was super quick with food being ready pretty fast and quanta was really good too. The ginger chicken was delicious and had fresh ingredients that one could tell from the flavors. The fried rice though was not to our liking. Unfortunately it was super greasy and it was swimming in oil (not quite but you get the point). I usually really like good quality Thai fried rice but was very disappointed with this one :(Given that we liked the chicken dish, I am happy to try this place again and perhaps try another rice based dish in person another time and also that way I can check out the ambience as well.
