A welcome addition to our neighborhood. Good food, friendly staff, and (in today's world) reasonable prices.

The portions are very large, so if you're sharing, there is no need to have everyone order a dish. That will reduce the bill a lot.

Tasty and super quickly served. The leftovers we took home and have eaten next day, still delicious. Thanks!

Tsing Tao is a typical Chinese restaurant. It's a local spot with a big menu. They make their noodles by hand, which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. The flavors are decent, and the service was good. The beef and chicken soups tasted fresh, and the portions were huge. The kids especially loved the noodles in the soups.

Boy what a let down this place was on the one night that I decided to order out instead of cooking during my 4 day stay in Los Gatos. The only thing that tickled my taste buds was the Chinese Chicken Salad “DRESSING”. Everything else that I ordered (pork fried rice, sweet n sour pork and won ton soup) had major issues. And while the dressing reminded me of the delicious Chinese Chicken salad dressing from Mings Restaurant that my family frequented throughout my childhood years, the rest of the salad was limp, literally. For starters: Chicken in a C.C.S. should be cooled, shredded and mixed into the salad. NOT served hot, heavily breaded and sliced in long big strips and placed all across the top of the lettuce to make it warm and wilted. And there was nothing included with the iceberg lettuce except some shredded carrots and a few sesame seeds. Where were the scallions, bean sprouts, slivered almonds, crispy won ton noodles, red cabbage and cilantro??
Next was the soup with slimy won tons, mushrooms and what resembled chicken chunks but it may have been pork? It looked a bit mangled or beat up in all honesty.
My other 2 dishes (which were pork based) were also odd in appearance, texture and taste. Pork fried rice is supposed to have little chunks of pinkish Red colored Pork cut into little squares to visually compliment the rest of the ingredients but instead this pork looked like stringy grey strips of something else which was virtually tasteless. The fried rice was also very sparse with the extra ingredients.
The Sweet n Sour Pork was a disappointment as well. Weird chewy pork chunks (some very stringy and hard to chew) and the pineapple, onion and bell pepper were all under cooked.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and conclude that maybe pork is NOT the best item to order from this place. I wish I would’ve tried Kung Pao Chicken instead to at least have something else to compare it to.
Am very curious what other folks think of the food here??
Luckily in LA (where I live) there are a few grade A Chinese restaurants which I support and recommend often. This one I can’t say the same about.

Great Food, amazing customer service. We were seated and greeted. We ordered hot and sour soup, beef, and broccoli, and chicken trimmings. Kimchi was the bomb. First time I had such amazing kimchi. I suggest that everybody must try this restaurant.

Very clean and table hospitality was top-notch.

When they moved to Los Gatos, the environment was simple but not simple, the service was perfect, and the food was even more delicious. Every dish was so delicious that I wouldn't be disappointed. I like their Zhajiangnoodle, sweet and sour beef with special sauce, and honey walnut chicken

This is a good Chinese food restaurant.
I ordered chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and broccoli beef.
The broccoli beef was not good. The broccoli was way over cooked and the beef was tasteless.
The other dishes were good, as expected. I also appreciated the portions. They got as much as possible into the containers.

Stopped over this restaurant to eat and our experience is a nightmare as we were treated badly by the manager named Jay. My 18 month old grandson was playing with chopsticks like a drumstick on his iPad not even really a loud sound. This manager came over and trying to take the sticks away from my grandson by touching his hands and I asked him what is he doing? Then he said pls take that away from him as he is bother my customers. Get this only two customers across us and 4 teenagers far from us. I asked him what is his problem and and he replied my grandson was turning his customers. I told home he’s a baby and he’s not even making loud sounds. So I turned around I asked the customers across us, “ sir is my grandson disturbing your lunch with the chopsticks?” He replied no he is only a baby. That was the end of my point to the manager. Then he started speaking in Chinese to the customers. My husband couldn’t hold himself he was so upset first and foremost you don’t touch no one and a child. This is a lesson learn of a form I can say discriminated upon.
